Manyvids is how. They are based in Canada, have a LOT less restrictions when it comes to what can and can't be said/done. Unlike in the US or and some parts of Europe, where Visa/Mastercard will come down on you like the wrath of some primal deity if you have content they don't approve of (Just ask Brazzers, they had their categories pruned to hell because of this, including my favorite "Hot & Mean".
You can even generally tell when a taboo vid is primarily meant for Manyvids. It won't say "step" in the name, and it won't have any pretense in the script/video about it being anything other than an actual blood relative. Bigtime adult stars like Penny Barber and Cory Chase tend to have the Step taken out of their titles for Manyvids but it's there for other platforms like AP Clips, and clips for sale

But Sydney Harwin is on another level. Her shit is just straight up disturbing and traumatizing. When there is humor in her videos it is of the darkest sort. It's not even about the sex in her videos, it's what particular mental hellscape she has come up with this time.
If your watching her just for the sex scenes and are tuning out the rest, then you are a sociopath. I can't watch her stuff anymore, it makes me feel sad and dirty (and not the naughty kind of dirty). Especially her bully vids, I want to turn myself in for sexual assault after watching them.
I bought a metric shit ton of her shit a couple of years ago, not knowing exactly what kind of vids she made, during the holidays because of a 80 percent sale (her kid was in the hospital and they needed money bad), and it was the worst porn decision I have ever made!
One in particular, about your mom seducing you while your visiting her in a mental hospital broke my dick for a while. After I stopped crying, I tried to get MV to take them off my account, I didn't want my money back, I just wanted it off my account. Lilith is much better for me psychologically, most of her vids are downright hilarious, and I don't feel like an absolute unredeemable sexual predator/monster after watching her stuff.

Harwin is very interesting, even though I can't sit through any of her stuff. I'd personally have no problem acting out some of her scripts with someone who I know is super into it, but the way she acts so deadpan makes me really uncomfortable. To be in control of someone else during sex, you need to see how they react to what you're doing (or, in her case, what you're supposed to be doing), and no reaction is worse than a fake "bad" reaction. A lot of them I just find disgusting at face value, which is just how it is sometimes.
I totally agree on your analysis on Sydney. I respect her work ethic but her stuff can become way too eerie sometimes. I really tiptoe through her catalogue when I have to find something worthwhile.
Considering she tries to push the boundaries of content, she does a good job at it because some of that stuff is uneasy. I know which video you're talking about, I've seen it too, couldn't make it to the end, was way too uncomfortable.
Lilith, Xev Bellringer, Tara Tainton hit the sweet spot for me. Sure Lilith is no Xev but her stuff sometimes just gives that warm, fuzzy feeling inside and I like it. Shame Tara has "retired", Xev has become perfectionist extraordinaire and Lilith has seemingly moved towards generic e-girl route.
Xev is currently the best right now, but she's been putting out much less work because she is a perfectionist.
Honestly I would totally accept it if Lilith posted less "content" to do quality videos like Xev.

I guess one of the reasons she might be sticking up with OF's shenanigans is the notoriety which OF has in comparison of Loyalfans and Fansly. I guess the amount of money she would've made since opening onlyfans would have been pretty solid so she puts up with it.
