Guide Forum Post Downloader - Tampermonkey Script

Introduction​

This script can download the contents of many posts on the forum including locally hosted attachments and files on some external hosts such as jpg.church, pixl, cyberdrop, bunkr, pixeldrain and others.

The script adds a download button alongside every post and a download all button at the top of every page which will download every post on the page.

Installation​

- Install the tampermonkey extension

- Click on the icon up near the web address bar (1) (you may have to click the puzzle piece to see it if its hidden) and then select 'Create a new script...' (2)

- Paste in the latest version of the script

into the editor field overwriting the default template

- Select File then Save

​

- Go to settings (1), change 'Config mode' to 'Advanced' (2)

- Then scroll down to 'Downloads BETA' (1) and change the option to 'Browser API' (2)

You should then see a download button alongside every post and at the top of every thread on the forum (you need to refresh any open tabs after installing), just hit the download button and the tool will download all media it can from the post/thread.

Weird Zip Names​

If zips download with a weird filename i.e. f81dfbdc-eb8b-4b37-8bb5-5100d498e2f6.zip then you should disable any download managers such as downthemall, free download manager etc., refresh the page and try again

Is there a way to download posts 1 by 1? My bad internet connection doesen't allow me to download 20 posts at the same time and often download gets stuck, but when i do it 1 by 1 its fine

i mean, you might as well do it manually if youre going for one by one > click jpeg > download. you can also install a browser extension that does exactly that.

my recommendation, get a better internet or do it manually.

i get it i can click each post, but i was thinking about something like, it downloads one post at time and waits for first one to finish before starting next one
clicking one by one manually i have to check every few minutes if its finished before i can proceed with next one

hey guys is there a way to make it so when you download from a thread it doesnt sort them by posts it just puts it into one big folder with its thread name?

Might have a bug w/ the script or perhaps it's a jpg.church|fishing issue. Perhaps the redirect to jpg.fishing? At any rate... I'm seeing quite a few posts that although it seems to download with no errors the images are not fully downloaded or are invalid in some way. Unsure if it's corrupted files from the download, simply not fully downloaded, or something else. I've looked at the console logs but I'm not seeing anything obvious jump out with my completely novice eyes. The files seem to download and are zipped up but they're not valid images... the file sizes are super tiny inside the zip. Viewing / downloading the images directly in a browser one by one works properly. I'm on the latest version of the script and tampermonkey in Chrome fwiw. Let me know if there's other details I can provide or if there's something I can do to help troubleshoot. TIA! 🙇‍♂️

Ah I see whats happened, I was using .fish (which was still cached on cloudflare) whereas .church is not but looks like that is no longer true. I've got a fix ready for this

I've had to rework the ibb stuff and split it up between direct embeds and linked embeds which I have working but need to test some more.

I'll try some more on the bunkr issue but might have to delay that and release something for the other two first

• Removed the use of jpg.fish cloudflare cache which no longer existed so that this post (and I guess others on simp2 and maybe others) now downloads:

• Fixed the bunkr issue which was affecting bunkr.ru links because the script was giving the original link (.ru) as the referrer when bunkr requires .la for the referer

It's mainly a privacy thing, as Tampermonkey apparently embeds google analytics and is close sourced as well.

I'm noticing that at least here, gofiles links are not working(cyberdrop-dl is also not working, nvm it was cuz it had password), this for example:

I think thats a bunkr thing. They sometimes put out a htm file. When you inspect it you will notice that there is a 429 Too Many Requests error in it.

bunkr have rate limits, if you try and download more than a couple vids from some servers they will block you, the script accounts for this with individual posts but if you are downloading more than one post at a time or if you're downloading something else from bunkr in the background then you'll get that error.

The bunkr album in that post downloaded fine for me
