I've been using for a while now. It's not on the store so it isn't monitored, but it does mean you need to manually load it.
So far, It's the Instagram Downloader extension I'm most happy with.
Been using this Instagram script with tampermonkey for few months and it works great for pics and videos both.

Works great, what does everyone use for bulk downloading? Every extension with bulk features is not functional
For bulk instagram downloading use this app.. works great. You might get 503 error every now and then but ig you keep trying and it will eventually work.
You will need python installed first. Then you can use the app to download whole profile.
But there is 2 issues:
1. IF you download someone profile as a guest then this script will only be able to download lower resolution version of pics.
2. And if you supply a username/pwd to login then Instagram will probably ban your account because they don't like people downloaing content.

Also,
Attempting to run behind a VPN will likely fail as many are likely using that IP to hit up the API to download.
Use a 2nd/backup/dummy account for this because eventually you will get blocked or banned.
Don't try to download thousands of images. It will fail, you will get blocked. Once your account gets blocked, it isn't normally permanent, so re-activate your account and wait before trying again. Small chunks at a time.
I use instaloader but when I try to scrape, I get the "profile doesn't exist" prompt. Not for all profiles, just some. Does anyone know how to fix this, is it a bug?

Unlike snapchat OF does NOT and can NOT detect people saving content (unless they are using some bulk download tool but I ahevnt been banned yet even atfter using bulk downloading tool Onlyfans datascrapper from guthub)
does nitter still work for anybody? i want to use that twitter extension in the pinned post but nitter rarely loads anything other than one tweet on a page now for me.
VideoDownloadHelper never works for HLS for me. always tells me i need some companion app outside of the extenstion

Take a note of your current IP, then connect to a VPN server and check it again.
