Hi all, there are some hacked accounts posting viruses within zip links on gofile.
Please report these posts when you see them.
DO NOT reply to them, this just makes it harder for us to clean up and may get your account banned by mistake.
I'm really (REALLY!!) sorry for asking this as I am sure you have been asked before, but.......
I am a Mac user. I have the right Python installed, and downloaded your zip file. There are 3 text docs. inside, with one being "Start Mac.command". When I try and open it, it opens Terminal and then I get "The file “Start Mac.command” could not be executed because you do not have appropriate access privileges.". I have given full Read & Write privileges, and it is still not doing anything.
I am not a Terminal specialist, so am I missing something?

It's because you're not actually using 3.12, you are probably using python 3.10. I'd recommend uninstalling all versions of python and start from scratch. Delete the venv folder if you have one.
Yea, pretty much as I expected. It's likely either a firewall or an antivirus you have installed. Worst case scenario, use a VPN.
I cant, i need the old version for Stable diffusion as SD wont run with anything else. is there no way to tell the downloader to use 3.12? i have both versions installed.
Use pyenv or a similar tool to make a venv for CDL. Or manually specify the path to the 3.12 python in the start file.
Neither of these things I'm comfortable explaining to people. Google will be your friend for the first, trial and error for the second.
Jeah well F me then. I have literally just reinstalled my whole system because some tool ruined my pc. I am not going to experiment with python or tools I have no idea about.
If you could implement a line in the config to specify the python location that would be cool. If thats even possible. If not I have to start to download these pics by hand. Thanks for the answer however.
Okay well i tried to add “set PYTHON=” to the start.bat like it is in stable diffusion but that did not work. Thats about as far as my python knowledge goes lol

Putting out version 5.2.25, try with that. (CDL will auto update, just check the version number at the top of the UI, and keep restarting it until it matches or is greater than).
