Tools Cyberdrop-DL: Mass Downloader for most forum sites and SimpCity threads

I need to fix this. will be doing so when I'm back from vacation.
Hi there, first I wanted to say thank you for creating the tool. Sorry if this has been addressed but I only installed the program just now, I'm getting extremely slow download speeds from cyberdrop. They are at around 40-50kbps, and then usually end up stalling and never finishing. I'm not sure if this is the program, because even loading an image from the site in my browser is proving difficult, it takes ages.
Can anyone confirm? I don't remember cyberdrop being this much of a pain before,

Cyberdrop has been essentially dead (through different means) for around a year. Whether it's servers just being straight up offline, expired certificates, or in this case extremely slow. It tends to be best to just avoid that site.
Ah, thank you for the info. It's a shame then, a lot of threads have albums uploaded on cyberdrop from before. Oh well, at least I can use your tool on others.
Jules--Winnfield I'm trying to scrape a coomer profile. I threw the profile link into notepad and started scraping. But it's just in the message "Starting Scraping/Starting: [profile link...]" But it doesn't show any progress. Does it take that long or is it some kind of error?

Is there a default location I should be populating for the config file ? Or will I have to specify the config path each time.
If so, i guess creating an alias to auto populate the config file is an option :)

Not sure what you mean by default location. CDL creates all the needed files and accesses them by default in whatever directory the program is run in. You don't need to specify it. You can manually specify it with more complex setups.
CLI options do not override the config. If apply_config is set to true, the only arguments that are read are from the config.
By default location i mean something like XDG_CONFIG_HOME -> ~/.config
yt-dlp is one similar program that comes to mind that does this. I'll just specify an alias instead since my use case is fairly simple

turn down concurrent downloads and/or increase the throttle value in config. I'll be looking at this later to adjust the values in the program manually for coomer.
