I agree with the principle of the "Who is this" thread rule that the same request may only be submitted a limited number of times. Allowing a free for all would make the thread even busier and more repetitive than it would naturally be, and ironically the high post rate is the very reason users feel the need to bump their requests.
However for this to be effective:
1. The ability to delete own posts should be disabled in this threads. I have seen countless users keep their 'bump' count at 2 by simply deleting the older post before adding a new one with the same request. Some do this every couple of days. [Incidentally is this worth reporting? Can mods check deleted posts?]
2. It is probably reasonable to cap the time period over which the same request is permitted. For example 2 of the same request might be allowed in a rolling 3-month period.
3. The Community Rules should be amended to clarify that the 'no bumping' rule does not apply to this thread, because it's explicitly allowed there so the rules are in conflict.
4. The policies should be applied to all ID request threads including Trans and Hotwives, for consistency and to avoid them being used as loopholes.
