It seems a lot of the agency stuff can be traced to when Bella Thorne started her Onlyfans in the summer of 2020 and it was highly publicized she made $1 million in a day. Before that Onlyfans was pretty much entirely made up of sex workers. And they ran their accounts as a business and were constantly checking messages, selling customs, shooting, and doing all the work. A lot of them already had experience running their own websites. Onlyfans accounts were almost all sub per month and that encouraged the sex worker to be active to keep people subbed. And the big money was made through customs and girls needed to be active in order to make sales. But then once Bella blew up Onlyfans, things changed. Remember this was also at the height of the pandemic when everyone was home and looking for things to do and ways to make money.

The attention Onlyfans was getting brought in a ton of new people who had never done sex work before. Bella's success also started an avalanche of social media people doing OF. And many social media people usually have managers or work with agencies. So it was very natural to let them run the accounts. Instagram/YouTube/TikTok girls let their agencies run their pages and then their agencies started to turn into Onlyfan agencies cause that is where the money is. Agencies then started to recruit more social media people promoting great money for little work.

Now it's snowballed to where most sex workers now use agencies running their accounts. We quickly went from girls running their accounts and selling content, to guys running their accounts and selling content, to now agencies starting to use AI to run their accounts and sell content.

Today very few girls have anything to do with their accounts. Some barely can be bothered to shoot content for their agencies.

Thanks for the info. Do you have any idea how much an agency would charge a big OF model? I have some sympathy for the eastern european or colombian women who probably don't have much of a choice. I am sure those women get a massive chunk of their revenue taken by the agencies. But how much would, lets say, an american with 500k insta followers moving over to OF be charged by an agency? I know cam studios take about 40-50%.

There was some talk about if it was against the terms of OF in here. Under the acceptable use policy on OF, accounts cannot be shared. Deceptive practices and spam are not allowed either. Agencies would fall under all of these terms and should be banned, but OF likely does not enforce these policies on agencies because OF do not want to take that hit on their own profit margins. They know that almost all people who get scammed on OF will not admit it and move on. Any complaint to OF would be ignored. They will say there is no proof the account is being shared. They of course know who is using the account and how many people are on it. Adult sites have advanced anti fraud measures. It is not just IPs. Even if everyone is VPN'd up with the same IP, OF still have fingerprinting, cookies and many other methods to know exactly who is logged in and what they are doing etc. But only they have that information and will not admit that to the consumer.

In order for things to change, payment processors need to become aware of it. I am not familiar enough on how agencies work to know if there is criminal behaviour. I mentioned how 'dick rates' might be offered by those agencies pretending to be the model. That could present a serious legal issue if those pics are going to people in the agency and passed around until they reach the model.

The reason I started looking into this is because I noticed a some woman from tiktok started streaming on a camsite and I was surprised. I checked the stream and noticed she would constantly say to join her OF and she would reply to everyone. She did the typical 'i'm so shy' routine. Something about it kind of annoyed me lmao. The way she kept trying to convince everyone of this. I signed up to talk to the agency. Only $3 so whatever. Instead of doing the smart thing and ignoring or blocking me, the agency started desperately trying to convince me they were actually her. I directly asked them to confirm that they are the woman featured in the onlyfans profile and wall pics, nobody else has access to the account and that she is not signed to any agency. They confirmed all of that. I then told them she is on stream right now (don't think she was lmao) and has not touched her phone or computer in the time they sent that message. They replied with 'I sent it before I started streaming. OF just takes ages to send my messages.' You cannot get more deceptive than that. There was nothing ambiguous about it that you would usually expect. It was very direct deception.

Agencies take 20-30% of revenue, so if you pay $100 the agency takes $20-30 leaving the creator with $50-60 after OF has taken their 20% cut as well.

Agency isn't prohibited by OF, in fact the ToS have provisions for that specific scenario. They just make it clear that the creator is always the one responsible for the account and what it posts.

I always get an odd pleasure in calling them out on this. I'll literally message them while on stream and you can clearly tell they're not the same person answering. On onlyfans, I now have a special bookmark for accounts that very obviously have third-party chatting (even though most probably do these days).

I literally mentioned this, bro. OF will not enforce these terms on agencies because it would hit their profit margins. We know this. That is why I mentioned payment processors. They already see OF as very high risk, and some have already pulled out.

You also put too much faith in these companies having good legal departments. As I mentioned, they rely on people not pursuing because of the shame. Because of this, they will try their luck, knowing the vast majority will let it go. These are not legit companies. Don't let OF being big convince you this. Adult sites are inherently shady due to the high risk of fraud. Same with gambling sites.

As far as the burden of proof, that does not apply in consumer law in the country OF is based, and in all EU countries. The burden of proof is not on the consumer if the issue is within 6 months of the purchase of the service. Also, stop taking TOS as the law. TOS are not the law and if they are not based in law then they are void. So, no. They cannot just change their TOS on a whim and enforce it on you. That would be considered an unfair term in law.

For anyone who has ever used OF, email them and tell them you are going to chargeback if they do not refund everything. You will find they will almost always refund you everything and close your account. They know they cannot win a chargeback claim. Why? Because they know their service is often not based in law and payment processors will almost always side with the consumer against OF. No amount of terms and conditions they have will change that, bro. Law is law.

Bro, what are you doing here? You seem to have a lack of understanding of what we are talking about. This thread is of consumers of OF discussing issues with OF. Nobody in here is taking OF to court. The discussion is about agencies and possible tactics to have something done about them. Your mentality is typical worthless, anti consumer mentality. Defending OF and walking back on things you have said when you notice you were wrong.

Let's go through your post:
''I know TOS is not law.''

You clearly do not. Which is why you suggested in a previous post that OF can just change their TOS whenever they want and enforce them on you. This shows a severe lack of understanding from you on basic consumer law.

''So you cannot cite the very same TOS you just devalued as being violated for “obvious deception” in some sort of case against the company. Either it has legal force or it doesn’t.''

Go back and read my posts. I mentioned the terms, out of interest and then said that they will never be enforced. This is where law comes in. We follow the law. Not the terms. I can mention them and devalue them because they are not enforced. The TOS and the law are two separate things. You seem to think that me saying the terms are not enforced means they cannot be enforced in law. They can. Because they will fall under specific consumer law.

''To your point, OF won’t enforce it. So much ado about nothing there. What would the payment processors do? In your hypothetical scenario, you think the payment processors—the very same ones who intentionally keep these companies at arms length—are suddenly going to get into the fine details of adjudicating whether or not models or worker drones are the ones typing up marketing messages about lying that they want to suck your cock?''

Again, you have a severe lack of understanding. Let me give you an example:

Somebody signs up to an OF account. In the bio, it says they offer sexting and you can directly speak to them. This person decides he wants this service and pays for it. Halfway through it, he suspects something is wrong. He starts to suspect the person he is talking to is not the woman in the OF pictures on the account. By this point he had sent dick pics. He goes back through the chat and sees many issues with how they are speaking to him. He decides to go directly to his bank and dispute it. This is where the law comes in. The bank will follow consumer law and the policies of the payment processors, which are based in law. The burden of proof is now on the OF model to prove she was the person 'sexting' with him. She will fail to upload in any proof, The dispute will always go the way of the consumer. The chargeback goes through, the consumer gets their money back and OF gets a chargeback fee on top of the refund. This impacts their relationship with the payment processor, who already consider OF high risk. The consumer can now see from the lack of evidence in the dispute that the woman was not the one he messaged. So who received his dick pics? This is now potentially a criminal issue.

This will almost always go in favour of the consumer. It does not require going to court. It is very simple and efficient. If it keeps happening on a large scale, the payment processors will shut down the accounts of OF. Just as they have threatened before. Just as they forced pornhub to ban unverified uploads. Start looking into payment processors, bro. They DO get into the fine details, and have done so before. You are, again, showing a lack of understanding in this. They have a history of getting involved because they have a legal requirement. OF's policies are based around trying to keep payment processors happy whilst maximising profit. This is why certain, rather tame acts are banned on OF. Because payment processors do not want it.

As a consumer, I would advise you to stop giving corporations the benefit of the doubt and assuming they are following law. Many do not. They just rely on not being found out by some crazy guy throwing lawsuits around or not being exposed by the media.

I'd like to weigh in here, if mods could let this be approved?

The creators that you see who have agencies working for them make, on average, over 10k per month. While agencies will tend to take up to 30% of that, and OF takes 20%, that's still enough to live on without worrying for a month. With agencies, these creators can grow that wealth by appearing to be online 24/7 in multiple languages, broadening their reach to people that otherwise wouldn't have considered them.

That's a lot of people that need to be responded to at all hours of the day, and simps love to be answered quickly if not immediately. If any model actually took time out of their day to respond to half of the messages and actually kept custom content custom, instead of reselling it as premade content, they wouldn't have time to work on getting anything actually accomplished, and they wouldn't be able to pay their agency. (though a majority are lazy and just sit on their money without a care in the world until it starts getting below triple digits, then they make another half-assed set or video, let their team market it, and go back to their takeout throne).

If OF and MV didn't existed probably sex workers could have used X/twitter account payment soon or clips4sale

This guy is unhinged but we must let him cook.

He is going at it from the wrong angle. He wants the model to pretend to like him instead of the agency pretending to be her pretending to like him. Most people don't care much about interactions. They want to buy content and find it is much easier when speaking to the model directly. An agency will never give you anything worth any money. You will get spammed with the same 15 second clip for $25. As soon as you notice it is run by an agency, the account is written off. You now know you will get nothing good. If you see the model runs the page, there is a chance she will sell you something good.

Exactly the point. I don't care if the girl is real. Never did. Just wanted to buy porn. The fact that you could chat with the girl - again, I started curing Covid when they had nothing else to do - was a surprise.

ONLY A GUY would disrespect another guy enough to ASSUME that the target disrespects women as much as he does. The assumption that you're just a fucking meathead... yeah some women do it but some DON'T. Fact. But ALL "agencies" start from that default position. The "agencies" try to sell you on shit that real creators don't. And again, total low-effort work at it.

I just recently stumbled into two accounts, two girls from the same area, obviously using the same "agency". They send me identical DMs, at the exact same times. Comically low effort.

Literally the same people who call grandmas pretending to be their grandkids in trouble with the cops, please don't tell anyone, send bitcoin.

I've always wondered, when a model starts an OF account, the content is good and the price is great, but soon she gives it to an agency, the content becomes bad and the video is just seconds, for $40-$60 instead of $15 or less + if she doesn't do topless videos, the man who runs her OF will send you video with a description (finally I did it , my first topless video, or oh god I think I will regret sending this🤣, to scam us, and yet they are making more $$. this is what makes me angry and not that I want to sexting with her. It is okay to have an agency to run the account, but do not scam us. tell your fans that you cannot manage it alone. And everyone will understand

Yup. This one fool keeps messaging me, "send any amount and I'll send you content worth twice the tip". Like who the fuck is that supposed to impress? Two times zero is fucking zero.

Contrast that to the one girl I used to sub to, every week she sends out a fully explicit video, with lengthy preview, and a price tag on it, and I can buy it if I want. No BS, don't even have to sub. Found money for her, if I WANT TO.

Honestly, this is a major example of why never to trust a girl's agency on what Content they'll have coming up or asking them if a certain type of Content is in the pipeline.

You can ask a girl if they'll be more BG, and if the agency has only been told to sell new Solo videos for the past few months, they'll try to tell you no, but for all anyone knows the girl may be with a guy and just not have put together the tapes yet.

Amber Ajami's team says no BG is on the horizon as well, but seeing the above example, why exactly would they know what the girl has coming up? They've been told to sell Solo, of course they'll try to discourage other content. If the response isn't from Instagram or Twitter, it's useless.

I've been a fan of cam sites since 2009 and I always thought that the idea of "handlers" and agencies were something that only happened in Eastern Europe and Ruzzia. Now I'm not so sure. Myfreecams and Chaturbate have been in decline for years but since Covid it's been really bad. Just when I was beginning to lose hope, like within the last month or two, TONS of hot American girls have suddenly appeared on Chaturbate. Fresh looking, with very few or no tattoos. Wow, I thought, this is great... But, not so much. I've come to realize that they are all the same like they are working off of a script. Their profiles are all the same, they do the same dumb goals and most are non-nude. Someone is recruiting these girls and sending them online to make money. Thankfully, I've noticed guys were tipping them big at first, but then the tips dried up and they just hang out online for hours making 1 and 5 token tips over and over - I guess guys are just dirty talking them for little reward. I've seen quite a few disappear after 5 or 10 shows when they realize that guys are catching on pretty quickly and sure enough, new ones keep popping up every week. Seems like it's going to be just a phase since everyone is catching on pretty quickly just like what is going on with Onlyfans.

Have you guys seen the same thing on cam sites? Any further information or insight as to who the company or group of individuals are that are organizing this on Chaturbate? Thanks.

Yup, all the girls with the highest views nowadays are all from an agency, u can tell by their onlyfans page , its always 5 photos of the girl in different poses / places ( and their bio ofc, it's always the same bio same sentences same everything ). and ofc you can also tell by looking at their room and how they talk. it's just sad to see that people pay these girls anyways. it's an oiled machine of girls that are being sent in order to make money for a pimp / agency. it's crazy how this shit works.

It's so hard to find a girl on chaturbate that's not part of a studio of any kind nowadays. Just sad tbh
