I am going to comment due to my compulsion to correct people who state their opinions as fact. No offense to you personally, I just have to. First off, he definitely doesn't have money. As has been shown and stated multiple times, and can still be witnessed, he just plays video games all day and isn't gainfully employed in any meaningful way. His LinkedIn profile stated that he took six years to complete a 3-4 year IT program, did nothing with the qualification, then drove Uber for like 4-5 years. No one with money, personal or family, drives for Uber. If you actually have had occasion to speak with/learn about him, he was just lying because of course he would, wouldn't you? A CV that shows your employment history, however, does not lie (at least if it paints a dour picture of your employability; no one lies to make themselves appear worse on a CV, only better). So, if by "wealthy" you mean "working-class", then yes, he's extremely "wealthy".
Secondly, the "going to Canada to study" would have simply been the only legit way to get into the country. She wouldn't have been able to get a work visa for what she does, obviously (Maimy: "Can I has one sex-worker visa, please?"), so student visa for him would have been the way to go (they will let anyone in on one of those because foreign student college tuitions are astronomically high by design, and account for some insane tax revenue). Thus, allowing his wife (the one funding his "study" with simp bucks) to tag along to The Great North.
Lastly, your last sentence attempting to speak to his state-of-mind is sort of laughable. It's like someone claiming that you suck dogs off for quarters because they know somebody who knows somebody who heard somebody say you do. That is what we in the "TV-Lawyer business" call "conjecture" and "hearsay". Some basic knowledge of human psychology and the previously stated facts tells me that he couldn't possibly be alright with her doing what she does, but the money is too good, he is too unemployable, and she can't rely on him financially, so he is a cuckold of sorts for the foreseeable future and she is an e-thot; that is, until she pisses of her clientele enough to cause real financial strife, or he simply grows up and gets a trade or something. Sure, most people who don't have to work probably don't work for Uber, but that does not mean it can be applied to anyone. I can even disprove it using myself as an example. I am from a rather wealthy family and worked construction for 3 months, after finishing school. I had 6 months off, because university would start in winter. My dad told me, he only supports me further, when I stop sitting on my ass and do something worthwile, either by getting a degree/studying, which like I said was only possible in winter, or by working, so I had to work and I definitely would have prefered Uber in hindsight, construction was actually hard work (and I earned less than my dad gave me). Not saying that is the reason for him, but there are definitely reasons why someone would work, even when they don't have to.
And it is still more than you provide? You don't even have "hearsay", you just straight up assume, based on your "basic human knowledge of human psychology".
