Yeah, the names of all the VR porn files you have watched on a Meta headset are probably in a database somewhere, and there's a non-zero chance that database will be hacked and searchable online someday by everyone. But I don't think the device is sending images or video of anyone's dick from the front facing cameras back to Meta. That would be a bigger scandal.
Aren't those the two things anyone is worried about? Does anyone actually care if the porn you are watching is being used to tailor advertising specifically to you?
Personally, I don't care about any of those things. I think 9 out of 10 adults under 50 probably watch some porn, and anyone who actually cares what types of legal porn other people are watching isn't someone I want to have anything to do with. Like, I don't even want to work for an employer that would judge someone based upon the porn they watch in their own home
