I thought i'd share this information here since i was struggling with this too after Vimeo made it harder to download the highest quality version of videos.
This requires that you know how to use yt-dlp, but it's pretty easy.
1. Download yt-dlp from GitHub:
2. Get the Vimeo video ID by opening the Patreon post with the video you want to download. Right-click on the embedded video and select View frame source. Find the video ID from the new tab that just opened or from the address bar of that tab:
https://player.vimeo.com/video/[Video ID] or
https://vimeo.com/[Video ID]
(You can get the video ID from somewhere else too, like Kemono, where her video ID's are visible, of course.)
3. Paste this into PowerShell or Command Prompt. Make sure you are in the same folder where yt-dlp is. (Leave ./ out from the beginning if you use Command Prompt. Don't know about other OS.)
./yt-dlp --list-formats "https://player.vimeo.com/video/[Video ID Here]?app_id=122963&h=f9cf8a0fe5&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.patreon.com%2F"
This will show you all the available formats for download. Scroll up for the audio entries.
4. From the list, select the "
dash-fastly_skyfire_sep-audio-[Some code]" 255k quality mp4a format for the audio and the "
dash-fastly_skyfire_sep-video-[Some code]" 1920x1080 50 fps for the video, which should usually be last on the list.
5. You can download the video by copying and pasting the video and audio entries from the list and combining them with +
./yt-dlp -f dash-fastly_skyfire_sep-audio-[Some code]+dash-fastly_skyfire_sep-video-[Some code] "https://player.vimeo.com/video/[Video ID Here]?app_id=122963&h=f9cf8a0fe5&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.patreon.com%2F"
Here is an example of how to download the Egypt Cat video to try for yourself:
