I'm still salty at the porn ban tbh. I had 7 years worth of content on my tumblr porn blog and over 10k followers. Even after everyone jumped ship, I still updated it until it was banned for good. I miss it too, OP. Tumblr was THE place for porn especially for people looking for more niche things.

bdsmlr seems to be the place where users went after the great culling. It's basically a clone of tumblr but exclusively for porn (and not necessarily bdsm related despite the name)

Content creators/girls seem to have went to OnlyFans or Reddit as far as I can tell.

It depends what search engine you use. You can still find some odd stuff if you're really specific and it may just be down to luck.

But yes, being able to still reblog stuff kept certain content alive despite the user leaving.

Searching for burgundy_kitten/-kitten and 'tumblr' brings up nothing on duckduckgo but we're talking potentially 7yrs+ now since she was around posting content. She was one of the early ones to bail the platform without any explanation and no-one knew where she went either.

It'll be interesting to see who posts URLs that people recognise because despite some thots being going viral in likes/reblogs you could still be in only on corner of the tumblr community.

i mean nowadays if someone deletes their stuff from tumblr that shits just gone with their account. you can still find stuff reposted every now and then but not super often and usually it's on an account marked as nsfw which mean tumblr makes it fucking impossible to search on the tumblr account and stuff it sucks lmao. i've been trying to find a way around the search block for nsfw accounts but no luck so far
