Discussion Tiktok rotoscope filter; can it be removed?

Keep seeing girls flashing on tiktok with the filter, tons of people saying it can be removed.

Can it actually?

Tiktok doesn't host unfiltered versions of videos, so you can only restore what's already there. For example, "xraying" is basically just playing with contrast/brightness to make things that were already in the image more obvious. It looks like the rotoscope filter completely draws over the person, so there's nothing left of the original image to try to extract.

So no, it's likely just a rumor.

I figured. I didn’t think tiktok would host each “layer” of the video, vs compressing it all. Seems like a huge waste of space. Must be people just trying to scare girls that are showing their tits
