She was a mom, where was her child? What was she doing going out and doing drugs with a boyfriend? And you gotta wonder if cross-border fentanyl was to blame. Tragic, but 100% avoidable, but still sad. RIP Cindy.

See, I get this part, but what's controversial about locking the thread, preventing anyone from uploading after her death + general trolling, and even putting a sticky/post at the end explaining why the thread is locked?

Seems like a good way to stop people from being incentivized to get more of their content, while also showing respect by stopping the leaks altogether.

I can understand hiding or deleting the thread of someone like an amateur model with a smaller and more personalized footprint in the adult industry after they've passed to respect their privacy, but cordoning off the thread for someone like Masuimi Max when she had an open 20+ year professional career in widely published and celebrated glamour and fetish magazines seems a little off.

Interesting policy on models that pass away, I was unware that could be an issue. I was considering creating and uploading some early 2000's era pornstars to share with the community, so I suppose I will double check if they're alive before uploading. 🙃

Honestly, not a big deal since I'm sure ~99% of us are here for current OF models and leaks.

Honestly I'm very confused on deleting threads with deceased porn actors and im very curious on the decision. Honestly logically it doesn't make any sense. Is it out of respect of their loved ones who reached out to the site or something? I mean there is no significant difference between jerking it to a video of a deceased pornstar versus jerking it to an alive one. We don't apply that logic to any other media like actors. Like you don't stop watching a movie if all the actors are dead. The only way the "respect" idea works is if we see the porn as tarnishing or defiling the person, and tarnishing a dead person is too wrong in comparison to tarnishing an alive person. But that still doesn't make any sense since
1. the person consented to doing the porn, and probably knows that whatever is on the internet stays on the internet
2. we obviously we don't see porn as tarnishing the person since we all jerk it all the time to porn
3. we clearly don't care about having respect because we already cut their hard earned income through porn piracy (which is actually physically impactful unlike when you keep up deceased actor videos)

Man, I've been on plenty of these forums and am an experienced internet degenerate. I still get confusion stunlocked by some of these decisions.
To be fair, I am a sociopath and do not believe in an afterlife, but I don't see any arguments for removing porn content just because someone died.
They weren't dead at the point of the porn video (hopefully). The video is made to be watched, and to be fair even if it wasn't we wouldn't give a shit since we're here to poach and fap anyway.
To be fair I don't really care about the topic, but every time a pirate group goes out and does a "we think this is best for the community" type of garbage and doesn't even allow the users to download and preserve the content in question I start getting very, very paranoid about the direction we are going in.

From a piracy standpoint I tend to agree with those who say "leave the material up." The content has already been filmed, edited, and put out into the world, and if most of us are being honest I don't really think we'd even realize that a performer had passed away if someone here hadn't said something about it, so in that sense I don't really see the harm.

From a human being standpoint though I think I'm with the admins on this one.

The first issue is that we've all seen a number of performers with successful camgirl/OnlyFans accounts just up and one day decide to leave the life entirely. And I'm not talking about the women who simply decide to move on from pornography who have zero regrets about their adult careers later in life, I'm talking about young girls who start making content as soon as they turn 18 and by the time they're 20 are frantically trying to pull everything they've produced off of the internet. When someone passes away before they've had the chance to leave the business on their own terms it kind of leaves of question of whether they were actually okay with their work at the end of the day, and while that's obviously going to be true of anyone who's still in the game and hasn't had a few years reflect on their career, knowing that someone wasn't ultimately able to make that decision kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

The other big issue here is that a large number of the performers we're talking about aren't dying from old age -- they're committing suicide. There's an awful lot of pornography on the internet and I feel like we very rarely (if ever) know everything that's going on behind the scenes. Amateur content that's uploaded without the knowledge of all performing parties, a video that makes its way to a streaming site without the proper age verification of an actress, finding out that one of your favorite sites was actually using performers who were being trafficked, and then these cases where people with severe mental health issues are getting closer and closer to permanently checking out with each new upload. You're not a bad person when you consume and enjoy that content when you don't know any better, but knowing that someone was in a really terrible situation after the fact is an entirely different story. It's like watching someone bump their head on something on America's Funniest Home Videos and laughing, but then finding out later that they suffered a concussion and died as a result of that accident. That's not a great feeling, and there's more than enough porn to go around that I'd personally prefer to just avoid that kind of situation entirely.

Just my two cents.

I think the problem is this second part doesn't really apply to veteran models/pornstars who unfortunately perish before their time by unintentional accident or some other non-suicidal way.

Ideally this policy would function on a case-by-case basis. It makes total moral sense to lock or hide a thread dedicated to a younger model who was clearly struggling with and eventually lost to long term traumas and inner demons, but it conversely doesn't make much sense at all to do the same for a widely publicized glamour model with decades of industry experience who might end up in a tragic car wreck.

Not to mention this policy would kind of make it impossible to even have a vintage section dedicated to golden age pinup content.
