Where else would you suggest? Recurbate has 99 percent of recorded cam videos that other sites don't.
Maybe people can just share on forums and free tube sites? I mean, that's what I used to do when I'd record people. But ever since 'friend-walls' became a thing, certain sites like cam whores has made such sites unaccessable to normal people, its now pretty much mostly a traders only tube site, where unless you have something to give, you won't get access to videos. That's bullshit and goes contrary to the free sharing side of things! And its just an illegal third party that violates IP rights. So in the end, you're basically paying to access pirated content. That's fucked up!

Yeah. My point is, none of these sites should be charging for access to pirated material. What's the point of it? Oh, its convenient its all there, but the fact of the matter is that those people were never about sharing. They are all in it for themselves. Those ones that only go to those sites that have private video options and then take advantage of that option to block access to the content they have, whether they actually did the recording work themselves or are reuploading videos that they didn't record. I know about that, because I had old Cam4 streams I recorded that suddenly were on some of these sites behind the private wall. I messaged these people telling them they took my recordings and that they didn't do the damn work, they basically told me to fuck off, and legally I have no recourse, but I fucking despise these sites so much, because I used to freely share my own streams without restrictions, only for some jagoff to take it and use it for their own trading benefits. No honor amongst thieves, so fuck those sites.And isn't that very similar to this forum that we are on? Except we aren't paying...???

You do know the reason they charge is for the storage right? That amount of storage costs a gigantic amount of money and most those other "free" sites use ads to generate revenue. Recurbate or now Recu is not outlandish in their price given how much they have recorded. I would not be surprised if they get up to a dozen TB worth a data saved every day. Mind you these recording are public and not private recordings so its not piracy as it is archiving.

Welcome to business. They saw and took the opportunity to capitalize from cam sites. If you know your way around it then it's not a big deal.
One of the key defects of Recurbate is the video thumbnails are only 4x4 squares, so it is difficult to capture wonderful frames, and those Upstore series websites have always been so stupid.
As an old hand who likes to organize videos, at least the thumbnails of 6x6 squares can tell whether the video is worth watching. An original recorded stream video is already very large, so it is very sad to waste time and traffic downloading big garbage.

They changed the format of the page as well as the format of the videos from mp4 to ts, which is honestly a problem, not only because of the quality, but also because of the problems of that type of files, not only did they ruin those who knew how to download, but also to those of us who pay the membership, I can no longer download the videos with good quality in mp4, I already sent a direct message to see if they are going to do something, otherwise I am going to unsubscribe, it is 180 dollars wasted to the trash in that format and even more so, that any problem with the internet that you have, ruins the file. They have just ruined a great page, as did camvault. I give them 6 months before it goes offline

They did all this to prevent people from sniping, what, 3-5 free videos a day? Do they really expect this to drive up business? It's just going turn people away. What a stupid update.
They've already had one site shut down, now they're going to end up losing visitors all together.

I paid the platinum of 280 dollars in 2022, in January 2024 the year expires, if they do not fix the formats, I will cancel the service. Add to that the fact that I have 3 friends who are going to do the same because their connection is cut off every 5 minutes to those who have the 180 dollar membership

It wasn't necessarily 30fps, 60fps, it could be 28.74fps, 22fps, 58fps... etc. Something that seems irregular, I think there's a packaging issue on the Recu capture side, maybe the Recu website labels the video duration as "audio/video desynchronized" duration?
It uses HLS .ts now, which might be a good thing.
I explored ffmpeg. For the Recu .ts in the current folder. configure the environment variables first, then type CMD in the address bar:

I don't know about .ts in any free method, but with premium access I get a regular h264 mp4 as an output file. However I can confirm the frame rates are often weird and unstable as has been stated before. But like I said I have bought premium access for one month non-recurring with my prepaid CC and I get a download button, which lets me download the source quality .mp4 stream files with no problem. There is no additional compression like they do over at webcamvids.org (formely camgirlvideos) and also there's no speed limit (depending only on how busy their servers are). Only minor flaw: Just 3 connections at a time. You might try more than 3 simultaneously, but then you likely get a "too many requests"-error or the downloads simply fail. But after all it's all good and legit. I just don't how long this wonderful archive is going to last until we see some notification of their final death on the front page. So if I were you I'd get in NOW and download all the shows and models you might have noted down for your collection.
