I've made a lot of my own compilations of various reality shows, where I cut out all the uninteresting parts so it's ends up as a single video with only the good parts of the show left. Here's one for the Czech Republic and Slovakian version of Paradise Hotel. 🇨🇿 🇸🇰

Russia's first attempt at big brother reality tv/internet. Very controversial because of explicit nudity and Margo, a Russian 2000 Playboy Playmate contestant, and Maxim having sex on live tv. The show was telecast live on Russian tv (3) times a day as well as 24/7 live streaming video on the net.
Became aware of Za Steklom after reading this article on the web: which provided a link to the free 24/7 feed. Cool!
Usually in the U.S. a female reality show contestant will appear in Playboy after the show, extending her (15) minutes of fame, whereas Russia chose a contestant, Margo, who had already done Playboy ~ those crazy/cookoo Russians.
Za Steklom started my streaming video capping hobby (2001-2006). Joined a Big Brother MSN capping group early 2002 which no longer exists and the rest, as they say, is history. Interesting this reality show started (1) month after 9/11 ...

As a rule, big brother contestants are kept totally unaware of current events happening outside their bb house, but Za Steklom house guests got to read all about their debauchery and effect on conservative Russian society ie Margo/Max's sexcapades right after they completed their dastardly deed!

The participants on some British reality shows have obviously been selected so they will provide friction and drama, but the people behind Za Steklom thought our Big Brother was too boring. Instead they used psychological methods to choose contestants who would get on well - very well ...
Reality TV has burst upon an unsuspecting Russian public, with the daily diet of sex talk, live romps, games and quarrels denounced as depraved by the Orthodox Church even as viewers send TV6's ratings heavenwards.
