If I wanted to dump massive batches of data to clear some space off my HDDs, what hosting site should I use? I have terabytes of data that I want to upload.
bunk.ru
gofile.io
church
megaupload
mega.nz
anonfiles
spankbang
bunkr and church are not personal storage hosts, they are for sharing content only. If you just dump content on there and never share the content will be deleted.
In my experience I’ve had videos sometimes get randomly deleted after successfully uploading them to Spankbang. No notifications for copyright takedown though I can’t rule it out. Not a good site to keep backups or any tube sites in general.
"Yes, only if your files are active. Active means its getting actively viewed/downloaded.
Inactive files will get deleted 30 days after the last visit."
Bunkr specifies activity as an album as being just "viewed" does that mean I could potentially view my own album myself to keep up the minimum activity necessary to keep data from being deleted? Or would I have to view every file? I want to upload some of my data mainly because I don't read it enough for it to justify taking up 30-100 gigs on my server. If I have to provide a sharelink, that doesn't guarantee that anyone is going to view it. Therefore the data gets deleted anyways. I have like 3.8 used so services like google drive/dropbox is going to be prohibitively expensive.
Out of these services, Mega is the best for file storage. Gofile is trash and should never be used for anything. The rest of them are not intended for personal storage and should not be used as such
