There are many, many people in that world who have had decades long, well-paying careers of using the Adobe suite every day—to use one example—who
still don’t know what half the palette items do.
It has nothing to do with intelligence or “being an idiot”…it just requires not caring and/or not using certain functions in your workflow/style.
Again, I would bet heavily against someone with her artist output being intimately familiar with paths to decensor images in post. An inadvertent oversight isn’t “idiocy” and “knowing how image programs work” isn’t “all-encompassing mastery of all possible functions”.
You’re making a
ton of assumptions here and spinning them as de-facto “truths”.
