anytime i open a thread my antivirus blocks me. im using norton. any suggestions on how to fix this?

you should either whitelist the forum in the antivirus settings or disable web protection entirely (the thing that blocks addresses of malicious web sites)

Also as the user above said, Norton is generally considered bloatware. The general consensus is that windows defender (that comes preinstalled with windows) and a Malwarebytes free scan every now and then is enough
