Yea of all their editors why would they fire Kai, not only is she apart of a lot of their content but shes also Jeanies best friend.

Probably since youtube is gone for them henry's gonna be the one editing patreon vids. I was gonna say they may not have the budget anymore to pay editors but im not sure on that honestly

As far as I know, only Twitter and Twitch that's linked on her Twitter page. It seems like she streams an average of once a year though.

Kai was still a main draw for Patreon subscriptions so I highly doubt she's the one they let go. Also don't forget that one of their other editors accidentally uploaded an uncensored reaction video onto YouTube and it gave them a strike. I'd wager that he's the one Henry's talking about.

I don’t think Kai was the main draw for Patreon subscriptions considering they were already maintaining tens of thousands before she started appearing in content, and the number didn’t change dramatically. But that’s a fair point about the editor who got them banned in the first place. I recall Henry saying he had multiple editors and people who check videos before going up. No reason to keep all of them
 
I mean they made a patreon vid that was released by a fan account talking about their plans and Kai (at least as "talant") is included in Thier future plans. If she is still there maybe she just won't be editing?
 
Jeannie hasnt been crying in the last few "goodbyes". She even seems happier and happier.

edit: Damn Henry is coping hard and his rep is 100% lying to him.

It's sad that those two are gone from youtube truly, even if Henry is dumb in the business sense and navigating political situations, he is still a great human being in many other ways and has a sense of humor par to none, especially when he can bounce that off of Jeannie. Those two were born for that job, that they carved themselves. There is not a single youtube channel that can replace them.

The sadder it is, to just have seen them get in trouble through their own actions and behavior, that was EASILY fixable/avoidable, over and over and over again. The same thing, every time. But instead of owning up to their mistakes, they doubled down and even went as far as manipulating their gullible fans into joining patreon, which they could have just done without all the lying aka "youtube bahd, we are innocent cry cry now join patreon happy happy" videos.

At least he now admitted that he KNEW that youtube found their thumbnails problematic, ever since they first got in trouble.
Something that their ENTIRE fanbase has been preaching to them about and something only the diehard brainrotten fans would challange.

To absolutely pound it home, Henry citing youtubes guidelines, in which they are not allowed to do anything youtube related anymore and then immediately talks about wanting to breach those rules and do tests to see if they can post there in the future. This has to be a really, really really bad joke, right?... right Anakin?

Most of their strikes were selfimposed and they were practically begging for them, even going as far as bragging that their thumbnails -especially,- are definitely!!! not the problem and it is "the only way to get people to click"....evidently!!!! While thousands of other youtubers have as many clicks or as many views as mxrplays, without pornography in their thumbnail.

No admission of guilt in anything that he truly messed up completely, including his AND jeannies entire youtube career, when all he had to do was to shut the fuck up, folllow the rules and earn a big fat paycheck like everyone else. There is no channel in youtubes history as infamous as Mxrplays for doing the pole in the bike tire meme and cancelling themselves effectively. Which only means that if patreon ever finds anything problematic about them and their content, history will repeat for those two.

I truly wish that they grow up for their own sake.

Well said! I was just about to post something similar but you said it so much better than I ever could. It was nice getting a tiny bit of the truth for once, that MXR knew exactly what YT's problem with them was all along, with his thumbnails and other people reporting them. And it was nice on YT's part by saying plainly, we don't want you anymore. I do wish Jennie and Henry the best, despite being deeply annoyed with everyone involved and agreeing with the above, that their own boneheaded choices lead them to get banned. They should also really start planning for the future. They can't expect to be react content creators on freaking Patreon for the next 13 yrs.

its true his content skirts things, but i honestly think there are bigger and worse things on youtube. you mean to tell me ppl really reporting his channel for risqué thumbnails? how sad you gotta be to do that. i mean think about it really.. does anyone honestly care. or is it because you dont like him? youtube used to be a place where noone cared and the rules where lax. now there's places on youtube where theres literal porn or naked women and of course noone gonna report that because tits and etc. but ppl wanna report risque pics henry uses? be for real. look at where we are complaining. in a site where ppl goon to fakes and waiting for girls like kai and jeannie to get naked and theres actually ppl here who dont like the content henry does? if anything yall making it worse by having less of jeannie or kai. lets be for real ppl. lets be realist for a moment and actually see that youtube is just gettng worse and making more and more rules to restrict freedom of speech and content. like theres certain things you cant say or YT gets ya. Curse too much and YT gets ya. 3 secs of copyright music in the background. your done. like come on.

Yes I could see people reporting it. I could actually see parents reporting the channel. Like seeing their kid watching clicking on their channel and then seeing the sponsor being an erotic clothing company etc.

The thing about MXR Plays and the whole see through naked thing is that while they both exist MXR Plays has a whole wider audience where they get a whole lot more randomly suggested when clicking through normal content. That's the difference, yea you can search around for stuff and find it on YouTube and then eventually you will start getting suggestions for that kind of content but MXR is almost a diff category.

As an aside the see through channels get nuked quite often. There are a whole bunch of ones that I know have gotten nuked in the past it's just a matter of time and attention.
 
I have no doubt about that. Especially considering Henry and Jeannie seem normal, so their sense of humor doesn't appear to follow any ideology. If something is funny, it's funny. All it takes is them to laugh at one tiny video clip that someone deems is inappropriate to laugh at, and then suddenly they have some terminally online dipshit that is going to make it their new purpose in life to make MXR's life hell.

And I think I said it before, but maybe the thumbnails and most of the lewd content didn't get them strikes. But it definitely put a target on them and got them on someone's shit list at YT. Maybe not exactly rule breakers, but seen as problematic none the less. And when push came to shove the people at YT felt nothing of value was lost, so they had no problem binning MXR channel.

That and people who are weirdly pissed off that they don't have Jennie for themselves. I've noticed a very odd polarization with their fanbase. Either people treat them as normal and hang around because they are cool, and the other half that are convinced that Henry is building up or has built up this harem of Jennie and Kai and whoever else, and he just fucks them all day long. There doesn't seem to be an inbetween with the fanbase
