I haven't been that active for the past few weeks so it might be the new forum default and i just didn't notice, but all my posts need mod approval now. Is it some new forum policy that affects everyone or was my account deemed suss?

There is a status that can be applied to a user that requires all their posts preapproved by mods before appearing but that's not what is happening here. This will be because the content of the message is triggering the spam filter.
You can try editing the message to remove the text you suspect is causing the issue. If it's still triggering the filter, it will still show as needing approval.
I tried but it was regular stuff. At first i thought it was a pixeldrain issue but then i tried asking a question in a models discussion thread and it needed mod approval.
Your first message triggered approval because what you quoted had 'remove the' which is used by people wanting to bypass our filter with things like:
"dis-cord.gg/xsafasf - remove the - "
Your second triggered it for the exact same reason before you edited it.
I've corrected Midnighters post, once a message triggers approval, editing it will not remove it from approval.
Your account is not set to trigger approval on every post, if it was you'd have a banner that said 'Audited' under your name.
You just keep triggering the filter with what you say
