I feel like the major tea is how they are losing mainstream appeal. I feel like the huge influence they had on LA stream is kinda lost now it's mostly their own bubble. They are still popular, i mean look at their youtube. But when u check their streams. Even Poki their star player. Is mostly around 10k

That's an unfortunate fact for all streamers. They saw massive growth during covid but those numbers weren't sustainable. Across the board viewers have fallen for the industry.

But on OTV case i think it's wierd because even before covid they were during such a hype growing and growing, then drama happened and now feels like it's stale on their own little island. While u have big streamers interacting with all groups etc etc. Again they are still big but u won't see them hitting 20k+ .

On twitch they rely on trends that are collab friendly, it worked well for them historically(IRL in Asia/Fortnite/amongus/RP/valorant) since they can farm that content for youtube as well at the same time, once those trends die off they seem to kind of just fade into the background on twitch while still putting out YT content so it makes them appear to be less relevant if you're mainly on twitch. It's different to OTK who go out of their way to cater towards the livestreaming audience for growth, which has worked out good with the current WoW meta.

yup. imo the quality of her content has really tanked. she has a great voice for just chatting and gets fun when she's drinking but now it's just straight valorant with interactions mostly coming from the same handful of people. used to show off / be more openly sexy in pics as well which has totally fallen off

Not trying to sound misogynistic or anything but a lot of mid tier female streamers are carried by their looks and connections instead of their talents (gaming, music, entertaining). You can’t say the same for male ones on the looks part.

Poki defo doesn’t have any entertaining talent (dont crucify me), her personality is boring af. She had no reasons being popular other than being able to reach the market early and capitalizing her advantage.
