Keep reading the guide, its making the config and auth documents when they open, just fill them out like it says to
I tried to do that, but it actually just opens start_ofd.py as if it was a .txt itself. In the example image under Configuration, the.py filedisplays the python symbol, however mine doesn't. It's the icon for my Notepad app just like requirments.txt
The default app for opening .py file types is notepad. I can't change it, at all. It gives me no options to do so. It doesn't look like it's meant to be like that additionally, when looking for the following.
"auto_site_choice": "onlyfans",
"auto_profile_choice": "1",
"auto_media_choice": "0",
"scrape_paid_content": false
Only "Auto_site_choice" is present. I can't find the other three. It doesn't create a config or auth document.
I also noticed there is no .profiles or .settings folders present.

Ok, now I know I'm stupid because I can't even get through the "instillation" step, I don't see a release so I assumed it's just supposed to pull it from the web. Guess that's wrong? Am I supposed to download it from the green code button as a Zip file ?
5. Open a command prompt/terminal or powershell window in the unzipped folder. The easiest way to do this for those who don't know how is to shift+right click the white space inside the folder and select 'Open Powershell Window here', this is shown in the picture below:

That has nothing to do with my issue though? I've already successfully completed that step and gotten to the configuration stage where it tells me to double click the .py file.
I'm on the step where double clicking is meant to create two documents, but all it does is open itself as a text document. This is what I see. It looks like this weither or not I open powershell beforehand, and dragging it into powershell or cmd just opens that text file.

Yeah, I said that in a previous reply. Here's the issue. I can't change it from notepad. It doesn't give me the option to do anything other than use it, or look in the Windows store. And I can't open it with cmd or powershell or python either using the "open with" option and manually selecting it. It just opens cmd or powershell and then instantly closes it without doing anything.

Using "Open With" and selecting Python manually also does not work, it opens the cmd prompt and closes it immediately, I tried doing that yesterday just so that's out of the way. Changing it via properties to Python also does the same thing. The config and auth files do not get created.
edit: After changing the file with properties to use Pythong and opening CMD and dragging start_ofd.py into it and then pressing enter returns this

Install Git - don't worry too much about the installation settings, just keep them as is. Probably want to disable the context menu options during set up though. (I did). Restart if prompted (can't remember if it does).
Back to Github > Code > Download ZIP
Extract ZIP file
Open the new folder it extraced
Right click inside the folder and click "Open in Terminal/Powershell" or whatever you have on your machine
pip install git+https://github.com/taux1c/onlyfans-scraperCopy, Paste, press enter, let it do it's thing.
Once it's done
onlyfans-scraperTo get it running.
You'll need to fill out the auth file now, the guide on the github page is a good tutorial. Just double and triple check each entry is correct.
Then it's a case of working through the menus using numbers to get it to do what you want!

On Windows 10 remember to shift + right click, otherwise you might not get the "open Powershell" option

The OnlyFans Scraper is barely working and I don't know what drugs DIGITALCRIMINAL uses but it doesn't work for me.
So here is the thing:
I did everything on the tutorial and now I'm in the scraping/downloading part but I selected one model and it scrapes everything and now it even scrapes profiles I'm not subscribed to anymore.
I have no clue what to do lol.

Okay i solved that problem more or less by just turning the scrape messages off. Now im in the Download Processing thing and nothing is working. If i knew that this shit would be so annoying i wouldn't have subscribed to Karen Fisher lmao.

Thanks, this is so much easier. In the og one I'd literally copy the values exactly and get told I messed up my auth file. For this one I put in the same damn values and it actually works.
