it sucks for sure but that's also the nature of open relationships. you gotta be pretty secure and/or also able to emotionally detach and fuck other people for it to work.

seems like destiny was able to for a while not as it went on. can't be in a fully open relationship for 5 years and then suddenly go "actually nope i want boundaries on who you can fuck and talk to"

Yeah. I think it speaks to the fact that honestly.. all relationships have a fail rate. Most open relationships start from failed monogamous ones. But it sounds like it was pretty toxic both ways and they don't have much crossover.

I think Melina also learned from that Adept situation lol
 
It really might be some bias where I only notice the failed open relationships, but I swear its basically 100% of them that crash and burn. And in the mean time you have to listen to them brag so much about how they just communicate so well and everyone would be happier if they were like them, I get so annoyed with poly people. They are everywhere on dating apps too lol.

Dont really know much about these two just I find Melina really hot and destiny annoying, they both were very in to poly before even getting together right?
