She was outta pocket for sure but she's corny anyway. This is no secret. I doubt she even grew up around black people, since most of her family seems to be from her mom's side (all white). And she's from Portland, which has black people but only in small pockets. If she was around her mom all the time I doubt she saw many. And she's I think an Army brat (I'm guessing because her dad was supposedly military and she moved around a lot growing up) and home schooled which would also make her socially awkward. I've met a few people like that, both full black & mixed, and they're always a little off. Not bad people but it just feels like they're trying too hard or even cosplaying black culture without fully knowing why they're doing it.
If the n word comes out your mouth and it sounds awkward, you shouldn't be saying it. I've been following Julia long enough to know that this is not her, she was probably caught in a personal moment or didn't realize this recording would make the internet. Julia don't even really hang with a lot of black people which makes this even worse in my opinion.
