I can also confirm it worked somehow, even though there's no reason it should. I set up the collab using a browser with a free VPN, then accessed the UI URL using a different browser without the VPN (for better speed).
Last night I was able to get it running for around 4 hours using a dedicated ip on a vpn. Tried using the same method today and Can't get it to run for longer than 8 minutes
I give up, now I'm not spending more than 8 minutes of connection, whatever VPN, direct IP, logging in early in the morning, all ways are disconnecting very quickly. If anyone has another way out there, just let me know.
Apparently google has been trying to restrict webui as a whole and it's not an nsfw thing. A lot of people are using their service for free and they're probably losing money from the upkeep costs.
I mean it's a shame but it's understandable as we've essentially been robbing them blind by using their resources without paying.
They said that pro users can still use webui so can anyone confirm that
I think the problem is both Colab and the script we use. I used "TheLastBen/fast-stable-diffusion" the other day, it renders 4 images in like 10 seconds, which is seriously fast but not as stable as this one, I experienced a lot more disconnects. I don't know if we can find a new link or if this is just a problem with Colab. Guys, if you find something, please do not hide it from us
from colab product lead, i guess its a rip.
unless... someone find a bypass?
i have some theory how they are detecting the usage of webui, but again its just a theory and i don't have the time to confirm it
I got this error this morning, then the session was closed, I don't know if it helps. I also tried with VPN and dedicated IP and different accounts, all options the connection was cut off after 5 minutes.
The Colab product lead says it should, but people on Twitter are reporting mixed results. I considered Colab Pro but right now it's not inspiring a lot of confidence.
