Trans If someone asked “do you like trans women?” Would you be honest or lie?

Would you be open about liking trans girls or would you lie? Personally, all my family and friends know. I had a photo of Vaniity on my wall (nothing too extreme) and it never really bothered me or anyone else who saw it.

I know I am probably in the minority who doesn’t feel the need to hide it, but I also don’t shout it from the rooftop. Just curious, would you hide it or be honest and say you’re into trans girls if your friend asked?

I had a guy tell me I was gay once but I showed him a photo of Bailey Jay and I said ask any gay man if he finds her attractive and they will say no, because they’re into men! Bailey herself has said she’s tried to hook up with gay guys numerous times and they all say no because they’re attracted to masculinity.

I told him if finding her attractive along with other CIS women makes me gay or bi to him then he can think what he wants to think.

A few years ago I would probably lie. I would lie back then mainly because I'm not attracted to dudes, but I thought (and was told) being attracted to Trans/NB people meant I was gay. Not to mention I grew up in a very religious household, so I had a lot of conflicting feeling in my mind.

Nowadays I really don't care. It's come up in conversation with close friends and my partner, and it's never been an issue when I answered honestly. I definitely wouldn't bring up the topic myself, but I wouldn't have a problem being honest if asked. Hiding how you feel is way more exhausting than expressing it.

Idk bro if youre attracted to a trans guy with a big beard, a hairy chest and a vagina that seems pretty fucking gay to me. When it comes to attraction gender presentation is 1000x more relevant than biological sex. I agree, I respect everyone and everything, nevertheless for what is my vision a label really has too little sense, a word cannot explain the many facets, of course there can be preferences, but to create new labels for each of these seems a bit excessive to me, but in the end it does me no harm, so everyone does what makes him feel good, even if it means foreclosing on experiences to be in a group of people

It depends. Oddly enough, I feel comfortable telling my non-trans friends that I like trans women.

For my friends that are trans women, I definitely don't say that outright; many I know don't like chasers and are exclusively t4t. It's assumed that I would date/fuck a trans woman, but to say that "I like them" would probably be crossing a line.
