Isn't the JAV industry kinda backwards in that only the first shoot will be lucrative? Or am I misremembering things?

iirc Kaho Shibuya talked about back in the day people were really into the virgin girl so a lot of studios tend to portray every av debut film as them being innocent/inexperienced etc so it would make sense that debut films did pretty good but idk if it was THAT lucrative because if you were a decent av actress the only path to success was being a studios poster girl and go exclusive or be good enough to go freelance and just work on a shit ton of films. Can't really do that now with the new laws slowing everything down to 1 video a month so most girls just stick to underground market porn since it's less regulated there if they're just in it for the money so I wouldn't be surprised if some unknown or indie vtuber is also doing these discreetly. There's an insane amount of cute girls who are doing uncensored amateur porn rn it's crazy.
