Guide Forum Post Downloader - Tampermonkey Script

Introduction​

This script can download the contents of many posts on the forum including locally hosted attachments and files on some external hosts such as jpg.church, pixl, cyberdrop, bunkr, pixeldrain and others.

The script adds a download button alongside every post and a download all button at the top of every page which will download every post on the page.

Installation​


- Install the tampermonkey extension

- Click on the icon up near the web address bar (1) (you may have to click the puzzle piece to see it if its hidden) and then select 'Create a new script...' (2)

- Paste in the latest version of the script

into the editor field overwriting the default template

- Select File then Save

- Go to settings (1), change 'Config mode' to 'Advanced' (2)

- Then scroll down to 'Downloads BETA' (1) and change the option to 'Browser API' (2)

You should then see a download button alongside every post and at the top of every thread on the forum (you need to refresh any open tabs after installing), just hit the download button and the tool will download all media it can from the post/thread.






Weird Zip Names​


If zips download with a weird filename i.e. f81dfbdc-eb8b-4b37-8bb5-5100d498e2f6.zip then you should disable any download managers such as downthemall, free download manager etc., refresh the page and try again

I've tried the same (as well as others) and it still doesn't work, even with 2.8.3 and all servers operational.

I get no file, and barely any indication it even tried downloading anything, just a brief flash of "Resolving ", no dialogue, no error message, etc.

GoFile-links behave in the same way, but I haven't tried the API-token fix yet.

Tried disabling all ad- and tracker-blockers without any effect.

I also tried enabling "Generate log"; where is this created/saved?

edit: jpg4.su-links work, I think pixeldrain as well, maybe others, but bunkrr and gofile are among the most prevalent in threads I follow, so they are the biggest issue for me.

Yeah, since bunkrs latest changes the script can no longer download from bunkr.
I have started work on a fix but with all the issues bunkr have been having lately and the use of ddos-guard making access to the new get.bunkrr.su/file pages difficult its hard to test. I also wouldnt be surprised if bunkr make further changes to their site soon.

2.8.4 released​

  • Removed the scrape image from downloading
  • Fixed bunkr album downloads

Individual bunkr video and file links still don't work, I'm not able to work on and test it while the forum has so many errors.

As usual it should auto-update but if it doesn't you can get it from here:

Sorry in advance if it is a dumb question but is there a way to make this work on tor browser? I have installed everything like I did on brave and it seems to be working fine, there is a little red 1 and when I click on tampermonkey it is enabled and the script is on, but the button just does not show up on the posts.

2.8.5 released​

  • Updated jpg and saint hosts
  • Fixed gofile downloads thanks to Jules with new token and change to wt

Individual bunkr video and file links still don't work, I haven't had a chance to work on this, will find some time soon I hope

Hi,
I just did a long overdue update of this excellent and much appreciated tool after the jpg4.su links stopped working (the version I had still had the old Forum Post Downloader name, lol). Now I'm wondering how to change a couple of settings :
- have the Zipped option unchecked by default
- have the post number included in the filename after the thread name

Thanks!

jpg4.su sites aren't downloading with tampermonkey. Just comes out empty. Can anyone help?
