Guide Forum Post Downloader - Tampermonkey Script

Introduction​

This script can download the contents of many posts on the forum including locally hosted attachments and files on some external hosts such as jpg.church, pixl, cyberdrop, bunkr, pixeldrain and others.

The script adds a download button alongside every post and a download all button at the top of every page which will download every post on the page.

Installation​

- Install the tampermonkey extension

- Click on the icon up near the web address bar (1) (you may have to click the puzzle piece to see it if its hidden) and then select 'Create a new script...' (2)

- Paste in the latest version of the script

into the editor field overwriting the default template

- Select File then Save

​

- Go to settings (1), change 'Config mode' to 'Advanced' (2)

- Then scroll down to 'Downloads BETA' (1) and change the option to 'Browser API' (2)

You should then see a download button alongside every post and at the top of every thread on the forum (you need to refresh any open tabs after installing), just hit the download button and the tool will download all media it can from the post/thread.

Weird Zip Names​

If zips download with a weird filename i.e. f81dfbdc-eb8b-4b37-8bb5-5100d498e2f6.zip then you should disable any download managers such as downthemall, free download manager etc., refresh the page and try again

I would like to see, that it you can choose only pictures or videos and etc. And that it would download the whole thread and not only one page.

The downloader is no longer putting downloads into appropriate folders (with the name of the thread), and no longer labels the zip file with the # of the post either. Any plans on fixing this?

I just tried downloading in incognito mode with only TamperMonkey enabled and it still does it.
Tested on https://simpcity.su/threads/waterlynn.1085/post-3720893
It downloads as 1af2e140-1483-450b-ad12-c67736a0a2f8.zip
It wasn't doing this about a week ago, I didn't change anything since then afaik.

Changing it to Disabled or Native names the zip file properly (e.g. Pokimane #230.zip), but unfortunately still doesn't create and download into the properly labeled folder. That was a very useful feature for me

What browser?

Its working fine here for me in latest chrome, tampermonkey etc.

I was going to post here and state that the script isn't working for me anymore but then I noticed none of my tampermonkey scripts are working anymore. Does anyone have any ideas what might have caused this and how to fix it? I tried deleting all scripts, uninstalling the extension, reinstalling it, and then extensions and I'm still having issues getting any scripts to work, including this one.

Maybe these problems have to do with upcoming Chrome changes. I know Chrome and Google in general pushes updates in batches instead of to everyone all at once

Installed all of my scripts including this one on Violentmonkey today and now they are working properly again. No idea why tampermonkey would be throwing issues while Violentmonkey isn't but for the moment this workaround has solved my problem.

Search for react in the script and change the ID
You get the ID by hovering over the Emotes and look at the URL on the left corner where the link shows up.

Is there a way I can request a feature?

I wanna be able to disable the zip functionality. Currently I have to go searching for that and replace True with False for that option but it would be great if I could be one of the preferences at the top.

Is it possible to download video/gifs from cyberdrop? When I try to download a page or the specific post with cyberdrop videos, it just skips and doesn't even give the post a like.
