Since we already have a thread about movies, thought we should make one about tv shows as well.

a lot of the shows on my list get way worse over time, but I'm not gonna specify what seasons in particular, I'm just gonna put them on the list if they were really good at any one time. anyway here is my list, in no particular order:
westworld, the boys, wandavision, game of thrones, the witcher, stranger things, the expanse, lost, breaking bad, dexter, the walking dead, black mirror, legion, the strain, the haunting of hill house, homeland, battlestar galactica, rome, californication, the wire, the sopranos, oz, ozark, arcane, american horror story, vikings, mr robot, true blood, prison break, fringe, spartacus, star trek tng, stargate atlantis, the x-files, twin peaks.

and yes, I do watch a lot of shows :LUL

I too also consume a lot of TV shows, however, thinking back through all of them. If I was stranded on an island and could only re-watch one entire TV show/series again it would be ...

(minus Season Nine ... going to pretend that never existed)

This show carried me through late high school and early college. I would always binge watch the episodes at night and fall asleep to them. I've rewatch seasons one - eight at least seven times. The mixture of it being a medical comedy with serious tones worked really well. The whole cast of characters being unique and funny in their own way was amazing. JD, Turk, Elliot, Carla, and Dr. Cox just worked so damn well. It was even better knowing Zach Braff and Donald Faison were friends in real life too.

I really cannot forget the two very sad episodes:
These two episodes to this day I can remember how sad I was after watching them.

I will limit myself to current stuff, to keep the list short:

West World (9/10, science fiction, at least the first 2 seasons, I lost interest in season 3)

All of us are dead (9/10, horror/zombie, somewhat too slow paced but otherwise great)

Arcane (9/10, animated/fantasy, some plot holes but otherwise very strong character arcs etc)

Invincible (10/10, animated/superhero)

Peacemaker (9/10, superhero, somewhat mixed in quality overall but has some really epic scenes in it, overall very fun & funny)

The Boys (9/10, superhero, a very grim show)

Star Trek: Lower Decks (10/10, animated/science fiction, very fast paced slapstick humor, very good scripts, very good voice actors)

The Orville (9/10, science fiction, somewhat conventional but just came back with an extremely strong first episode of season 3, lets see what happends there next)

Reacher (10/10, crime, only one season but boy is it good)

Severance (10/10, science fiction, I'm relying on others because I didnt have the time to watch it yet)

The Mandalorian (8/10, fantasy+science fiction aka "space opera")

Anything with a compelling story or at the very least, relatable in one aspect or another.

All time I would say:

1. The Wire
Season 5 is usually thought of as being the worst and while it was disappointing the plot did fit the the theme of the show. That plot, if you've seen the show, being the walking-back of morals for personal/political gain resulting in more harm than good (i.e. Omar's death for not sticking to his promise to Bunk).

2. Attack On Titan (more than likely this will beat the Wire but since it hasn't finished yet I can't say it beats it)
Seeing how it's been going AoT will more than likely surpass the Wire for me as my favorite all time but since it hasn't completed I can't put it as number one.
3. Narcos: Mexico
Watched the entire series at least 6 times in 2020. The original isn't terrible but I prefer Mexico.

4. Game Of Thrones
Fuck Dan and Dave for ruining what would have been a masterpiece.

5. Oz

6. Seinfeld
7. 24
8. Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul (too hard to pick which is better)
9. The Office
Would be higher if not for the final few seasons.

10. Ghost Adventures
This one is merely here because of how much enjoyment I get from shitting on how fuckin' ridiculous it is. Zac and his crew are the dumbest fucks on TV.
*Honorable Mentions*
House of the Dragon (hasn't been on long enough for me to list it in my top 10.); Boardwalk Empire; The Shield; Chappelle's Show; Ray Donovan (an underrated gem).
