huge bummer i really liked Funhaus but im sure Elyse and James will go back to stream on his channel or something, this wont be the last we see of her for sure
I don't know, she did mention she wanted to go deeper into writing. Then again bills do need to be paid so maybe they'll double down on twitch subs for money.
If I recall correctly, depending on how long your worked at Rooster Teeth, they got up to 6 month severance pay, but that aside no on will get any more money from Warner Bros.
Everyone has been laid off, Rooster Teeth doesn't really exist anymore neither do any of the benefits, the remaining days until the 15th of May are for shutting down services, sets, offices and infrastructure.
They've both been doing some video game writing recently alongside Funhaus anyway. The worked on the recent Ghostbusters game and a couple others, also doing voice roles, so that could be something they dive into more.
Sad Funhaus is gone but it kinda died for me when Bruce, Lawrence and finally Adam left. I think Elyse and James will disappear from the public eye, James said during that final video he wants to take a break from the public eye.
It was rough for a time when Bruce, Lawrence, and Adam left. Especially after the Adam controversy, they had to work a hell of a lot to get back to a good place. Everyone really stepped up. Charlotte, Patrick, Jacob, Jon, and Ryan, they all did amazing and it felt like a new era.
I hope they can all bounce back. I think they'll all take some time to re-evaluate things and take it from there. I'm just both James and Elyse have both done a ton of networking, so they'll probably be fine.
Yeah i feel the same way , especially Adam,Bruce and James, i still even go back to the Inside Gaming livestreams for it unfortunately a lot of it is gone thanks to Machinima 😔

I think James and Elyse make a good amount of money from their side gigs writing. While i wish she would, i think there is a reason they're the only two who haven't been pushing a new project as Funhaus was ending, they ain't hurting for cash.
If they are taking a break from public eye, they're doing a bad job of it. lol

i remember in one of the funhaus livestreams she was being really friendly with Rahul, they both disappear during the stream for a long time and you could see James' wasnt able to focus anymore and at point he just randomly starts googling Rahul, so he was clearly in his mind during the entire stream when they disappeared.

I mean, anything is possible since we don't know James and Elyse's relationship, but I'd bet money on the answer being no.
