As far as I'm aware it's just luck lol, you can Tag a post that doesn't work and then it will eventually get re-imported. You just need to check close enough to when it's re-imported that you can grab it before it starts not working again.
I actually grabbed a few more a couple days ago that were recently re-imported, I don't believe there are any that were already in this thread but I could be wrong:
