Okay, I gotta jump back in because this is getting kinda out of hand lmao. Not to sound like a nerd, but I've literally read books about feminist theory and its relation to pornography, as well as taken college courses about related issues. :FeelsGeniusMan: There is a whole spectrum to feminism and you guys are arguing because you simplified feminism into one monolithic ideology.

There are radical feminists, whose philosophy is anti-porn and anti-sex work. These are the ones who "hate men" but there is a nuance to that (they hate patriarchal systems, not men as a species) that I'm not going to get into right now. Similar to communism, people wrongly attribute "radical feminism" to things that are more so just liberalism.

When people online talk about feminists, they are probably talking about modern era liberal feminists. Their philosophy is pro-sex work, meaning they advocate for the decriminalization of sex work and for the freedom for women to support themselves financially via sex work. This is what Diddly would be considered.

As with leftists and liberals on the regular political spectrum, radical feminists hate liberal feminists.

Brother, it's not like I came in here randomly looking to educate people in this thread about feminist politics. I explained something relevant because the people above me were arguing in circles. I even addressed that it felt funny for me to be doing so.

Trying to clarify something for people isn't "flexing an intellectual muscle," it's just called adding to the discussion. I think it's more cringe to think that intro level feminist theory is "obscure feminist bs." Diddly is a leftist for the most part, yeah, but the point I was making is that leftism ≠ pro-sex work. Things aren't so black and white. It's good to try and understand the people that you spend time thinking about.

Btw, if you're just looking to jack off, then why are you guys in the discussion thread anyways?
