I deleted everything from the folder and re-extracted the
"start linux.sh / start mac.command / start windows.bat" from the Cyberdrop_DL_V5.1.zip
into the target folder for installation
ran "start windows.bat"
once prompted (after the installation was completed I presume) I selected "Exit"
I updated the "URLs.tx" from "\AppData\Configs\Default"
I ran the "start windows.bat" once again
and ran into the same error messages

Any idea why the script would show as completing a download even though it hasn't and skipping over the file I wanted it to download?

I am experiencing very slow download speeds with Cyberdrop-dl maximum 400kbit/s. I tried to use vpn etc. still my speed is ~400kbit/s. I tried updating the software but still no benefit. What is the matter? How to fix it?

It's not a CDL issue. There's nothing within CDL to control or limit download speeds. The only things you can change are the rates at which requests are made, or how many downloads are occurring simultaneously. Download speeds are reliant on your connection and the server from which you're downloading.

Hi! Sorry if this was already asked but I was wondering if there's a way to rip a coomer profile with the original posts description as files names. Thanks :pepoLove:

Same thing happening to me. But in my case it's only when I download videos specifically from Bunkrr, and the download speed is about 4 kb/s to 20kb/s.
So, to download a 142mb video, it says it can take about 7h30m.

But then I wait a while and it seems like the download restart and the speed is back to normal. Really weird.

All of a sudden I'm getting a skipped by config result and it refuses to download any file from coomer. The config file hasn't been changed at all.

Edit: I don't know what caused this to begin with but I fixed it by deleting my old config and letting it auto generate the settings.yaml file.

No I think it is CDL issue, I have a 150Mbps connection and downloading the files except from bunkr eternally like using IDM gets downloaded faster (like gofile, cyberfile, etc.) but when I use CDL to scrape threads I experience this low speed. I know Bunkr is a shitty file host, I can understand fluctuating speeds.

I even tried reducing changing simultaneous downloads to 2 files per thread still I experience ~400kbit/s speed. Therefore, sth need to be fixed.

Hello! Please, can you give me an example of how to download the content of an entire forum thread? Do I need to be logged in to my usual browser? I always get errors :(

I am not sure if this has been covered yet, will go back through after posting. Is there an issue between scraping from bunkr.si and bunkrrr.org? I notice recently that the .org bunkrrr links open into a warning message and the files don't seem to scrape where as the bunkr.si links scrape just fine.

It really isn't. It's most likely just poor luck of the draw on which file server you are downloading from. Nothing in CDL limits download speeds. The downloading mechanics have essentially never changed, even from V4. If anything, downloads are faster now as I've reduced the number of requests that happen.

You are mistaken on the downloads per thread thing, that's not how CDL works. CDL doesn't use threads
