It is intended. I wanted to minimize the amount of files I was personally causing on peoples systems that would continuously bloat in size. At this point, the only file that is entirely persistent is the database.
i entered the password and username but the menu says Login wasn't provided for SimpCity.
What am i doing wrong here?

No luck. It still shows the same error. "Login wasn't provided for SimpCity."
most common mistake people make is putting their password in the username spot, and username in the password spot. Also, if you are using the config, make sure you have it set to apply config at the top.
because it's false by default. You can either use command line arguments, or the config file, both have the same options, technically the command line arguments are the default.
ha ha ha.. what moron would've done that and spent 30minutes trying to work out what was wrong.. not me.. that's for sure..
i updated to 4.0.31 and now it gives me an error message when i try to scrape threads on here, logins are correct and it worked flawless before

Jules--Winnfield - Any chance I could get a hand? Everything was working perfectly earlier and now I can't scrap anything.
There's issues with logging into simpcity currently. I'm aware of it (also dealing with it). Probably just a wave to ride out after all the other issues the site has had today
4.0.33 adds waits for the login process. should work
