there is nothing more resilient than bunkr, i have uploaded tons of files like months x months ago and still not even one of them gets taken down unlike mega and gofile where all your upload goes into shit even within a day.
Plus way more file size uploads available and had like 10x better speed and streaming than any other site, this slowing down thing happened during SEG transfer and all, they are facing some trouble otherwise theres nothing that even comes close to bunkr if its in their original state

people who share a lot don't have the time/won't bother to reup everything, bunkr has been amazing for several months, with consistent download and upload speed, without taking down a single file.

It's not even a month they've been having issues and y'alls already trash talking and bitching about it, just chill out, the links aren't going anywhere, bookmark em to download them later when thing will settle down, the buffering and sluggishness are just temporary

can't say the same for gofile where files inactive for 10 days get pruned, on top of that they take down stuff crazy fast if there are reports

Although a few months have passed, and I was just made aware of this thread. Everything has gone back to normal, awesome speeds everywhere (except the old server that is capped).

We are seeing constant speeds that can reach up-to 200MB/s download.

We have also reduced the amount of ads.

You guys need to understand that yes, sure, it has ads and no one likes them. But how do you think we get to have such features? Specially no takedown? it costs a lot of $.

But hey, there's always nofile gofile that will delete your files

Soon we will start redirecting bunkrr.su -> bunkrr.su (double R) since .la registry is managed by a bunch of pussies that can't take heat.

Why the 2r's? Because the bunkr.su domain got fucked since we used a third-party, so yeah. No we using official accounts so there should be no issues at all.

We've had the worst luck with this server, and here's the issues we've had to deal with:

We have had to completely replace the server, so before we did that we had to backup 80TB+ that this server alone has, which took like 3-4 days. Then we got the server replaced, the "new" server when we started to put load (restore the whole backup) it started to get 1000 up to 4000+ load, which made 0 sense.

Furthermore, because of this issue, the DC took a few days to check all drives, replace MB, OS drive, ram sticks, basically everything but the existing HDDs which made sense as it had already data on it. Found 1 drive about to fail, which we thought that was the problem.

At this point we are like 1.5 weeks in.

Then... when thought everything was fine, the newly refurbished server started to have 100 load again with 0 explanation.

Finally, the DC ordered new drives which also took them a few days to get there, and got them swapped and installed today, in fact like 3 hours ago.
We now are syncing current data with our backup just to make sure we have not missed anything.

Later today/tomorrow we will setup the new server and build the new raid array, this takes like 3 days. Then we can restore backup which is another 3-4 days.

So, TL:DR -> ETA at bare minimum 8 more days

Things could've been faster if we (the DC and myself) would be on the same time zone, but because we are not, a lot of the time when they needed my authorization to for example turn the server off, I'd be sleeping or working on my real job, etc. But it is what it is, rather had these drives fail while in maintenance rather than in production.

Yes, we are aiming once per month to sync current data with our backup. This only takes like 1 day, these cases of the RAID array rebuild are one in a time type thing (unless a drive fails)

Gonna be honest, some of you guys asking for invite codes have been here over a year with 0 posts and now suddenly you have loads of content to post and want invite codes.

Thats not believable, people are just going to think you want the code for some other reason and will end up getting their bunkr account flagged.

Post using some of the other hosts first to gain a bit of credibility, jpg4.su and saint2.su both ignore DMCA and cover most peoples needs

UPDATE

Thankfully we were able to complete all things way faster than we thought (originally ETA (since the last post (quoted above) was about 8-10 days).

Node 4 is now online. We are monitoring and adjusting settings as needed and because of this we will not update the status page for now just in case we need to adjust things.

As soon as we enabled the server, it instantly peaked at 11Gbps. So there's a TON of people downloading from the server so it will get congested.

Will be fixed. We are already working on a whole rewrite of the backend to use a cluster of servers. Right now users are uploading to single servers and thus when something is popular that single server dies due to the sheer amount of requests.

Well given the amount of space all the uploads are taking, well over 600TB, and we dont do premium simply because we'd get kicked ASAP from vendors that let users pay with paypal, CC, etc. and not a lot of users know anything about crypto, so yeah.

It aint cheap to use over 60Gbps and store over 600TB of random ass porn.

We hope to fix this with the new rewrite but as its super random its hard to debug.

This.

We have started to ignore users that keep complaining and complaining. And all they do is complain. Well fuck. "Just upload that shit over on GoFile and Mega if you really hate bunkr ffs, and don't come back with your ass between your legs asking for forgiveness because your shit got taken down".

Also people tend to forget that this shit takes time to rewrite and fix all of this shit.

There was a post about why it became so slow. I believe the guy who was running it had his house go on fire or some shit. From their homepage: "We have begun working on supporting multiple file-servers, so things will get better, we promise!" Bunkr is super good. Uploads never go down unless removed by the uploader.

It might be fast now but I'll never know. Constant ad pop ups when I touch a bunkr page so I can't do literally anything. I turn the adblocker off now the vid can play but still if I touch anything another pop up. I go full screen, pop up. Now I'm full screen, let's fast forward.. pop up.. oh now I have to go full screen again.. pop up..... ffffffuuuuuccckkkkk

At least when bunkr was in 56k mode and it took 20mins to stream a 10mb file, at least I could use it! I didn't though because too slow but now I find bunkr unusable.

Ive been regularly uploading for over a decade, only found out about this site over the past few weeks.
Uploaders like Bunkr because:
1. Files stay up for ages if not indefinitely
2. For me it has the fastest upload speed by a country mile over the rest (at least 3x faster)
3. You have many options to edit files

Members don't like Bunkr because:
1. Many pop ups constantly
2. Maintenance/ Too many requests happens often
3. Streaming can be poor

My only issue with Bunkr is that sometimes files stop randomly while uploading and have to be done again. Usually after I've uploaded a lot.

I always give at least two download hosts for everything I upload. Only time I dont if its a huge collection. Bunkr has the fastest upload speed and is the most resilient, so that's the main choice if its too big for multiple hosts.
I share content for people to download, not stream. I also give all the video details and screenshots so you don't need to check the streaming.

Anybody complaining about certain file hosts because they have to go through the anguish of pushing a couple extra buttons or having it download slightly slower, etc. Need to remember they are getting everything for free and to be grateful they are getting it in the first place.
Thinks its pretty sad the amount of complaining and entitlement I've seen grow over the years.

No file hosting site is perfect and they all have their own issues. If all uploaders gave multiple file hosts and gave video info. You wouldn't see as many complaints. But they also don't have to do that either and shouldn't be made to do that for sharing their content.

I'll admit bunkr is fine right now. My hate towards that platform has soften because saint.io the new video platform is absolute fucking garbage and I'd rather use bunkr then that heap of shit that won't play a video most of the fucking time. I'm just trying to masturbate not wait 3 minutes then be soft and bored and not want to do anything anymore.
