its easy all you need to do is copy those 2 files in the same ts file you want to convert and run the bat file and the script will do the work.

i always use this script on videos that have like +2gb in size and it always reduce the the video size without loosing quality at least you wont notice if the quality reduced or not been using this script for 2 years now i saved almost 5 TB with it.

You can just rename .ts to .mp4 and it'll work (On MacOS/Linux). MP4 is just a container like MKV, the actual stream inside of it is what's encoded and that doesn't change. I can't test windows but this has always worked perfectly for me and saves the demuxing step (which is more correct but more effort).

It's the same reason why Bunkr can extract and show you a video preview image for .ts but wont let you stream it.

I have a question... recently i've downloaded some 4K videos from xvideos/red with IDM and with their in-built downloader, and i've noticed that both the .ts and .mp4 files are running at 25.00 frames/second, but the files feel like they are stuttering like the bitrate would be fucked or something, compared to when i watch them online, or like they are running at a higher fps online for some reason. I'm planning to do some profile rips and i want the videos in the higher quality possible and for them to run smooth. My question is if i were to convert the .ts file with Handbrake , what preset would be the best for keeping quality / no compression since i dont mind big file sizes ,but fixing the bitrate so it doesn't stutter, and should i change the frame rate of the video that i'm encoding to 60 fps? i've noticed most 4k videos run at 23.98fps / 29.97fps.

If you are experiencing stutters, it is quite possible you didn't concatenate the files properly. I have no clue about handbrake, but I prefer a one & done concatentate + conversion that way each file is sequentially added to the final output file. Which is why I use ffmpeg. Are you sure the files are properly named? Like for example, windows will sort file2 after file1, file10, file11 etc.

ffmpeg is the Swiss army knife for videos, if you don't want to mess around with the command line you can use
Please, Log in or Register to see links and images
it is a frontend for ffmpeg.

Essential functions of the software are:

Cutting videos and reassembling scenes in selectable order.[5]
Separation of audio or subtitle tracks from video, or adding of a new track[15]
Concatenating multiple tracks with the same codec parameters[16]
Multiplexing into selectable container format[10]
Saving of single images (snapshots) in JPG or PNG format
Adjustment of metadata for rotation or orientation of the video[6]
Zoomable timeline with annotation of the reference frames and jump functions
Display of thumbnails of the video and the waveform of the audio track
Display, name and reorder list of cut segments
Automatically saving the cut list in CSV format; import and export cut lists
Display the generated FFmpeg command line for individual adjustments
