Good day fellow horders, I am not yet running out of space but I am quickly running out of options when it comes to re-encoding or downsizing the video files (I don't hord images).
At some point, I don't want to lower the resolution, bitrate or file container again, and again. I am looking for a tool that can deduplicate frames in my collection of videos on a larger scale.
I am familiar with shutterencoder, QCTools and the aescripts dfr for Adobe products, which I don't use (

Does anyone know of a solution that can deduplicate frames in multiple videos/folders? Preferably I would like to use something with GPU acceleration, but at this point, anything goes.
E.G. is there some sort of FFMPEG script or whatever that can reliably help with this?

Yeah, ffmpeg has the mpdecimate video filter for doing that. I've never used it but there seems to be ready solutions on stack overflow.

Do you have any test videos I can play around with?
