The one thing about her that frustrates me to no end is her makeup, lipstick, and hair for her videos. Too bright and too striking for me.

She can easily be more natural (like the way she looks during sponsors below). I’ll take her looking like this over her candy makeup any day of the week. Her bright pink and red lipstick have been a huge turnoff for me.

Omg Yes! I loathe those led multi-colored light effects bullshit. Especially when they use colors like pink, blue, purple, green that make their skin look like aliens or something. I hate that it takes the details away from their skin.

I also can't stand the fucking hair in her videos. I genuinely believe the black hair with the bangs and wavy hairstyle is a wig and not even her hair

Also gotta admit I was disappointed in the Helix ad. I was hoping we would get a new bed demonstration with her being barefoot again but in the pose this time but no she put an old demo of her on the bed from last year

I’m confused what you guys want her to do actually.
I’m aware that ear eating, kissing, spit painting are the most favorite for fap reasons but that’s not what she was ever known for and seems to close to the wishful thinking of her doing hardcore porn one day.

I completely agree that her make up and lighting are too much and not... it now.
Tan, casual, girl next door Sharon in the beginning was simply the hottest. If we got her in 4K now, yes that would be really great.

And I agree too that her videos have been a bit similar and certainly not particularly creative.
But, man, I’m just glad we didn’t get another yapping ASMR video in a while now.

This is the discussion thread for Glows ASMR content and I’m glad to see different viewpoints on it. But some foundation to it is necessary. To avoid becoming that meaningless echo chamber.

I think you're being a bit hasty to brush aside the light, makeup and wigs part of it. IMO, his is essentially what makes up half the quality of a good ASMR video and I don't get how much of her recent work was good. Sounds? Yes, the sound work is not bad, but I won’t pretend that this is the primary determining criterion for me. I want a beautiful (at least well-lit) picture. And although I agree that her roleplay is, on average, cringe, she rushed from one extreme to the other by making the videos seem impersonal and cold.

I had the courage to skim through her live and someone mentioned a halloween makeup spit painting. She seemed pretty on-board with it, although idk if she was placating that person or genuinely agreed that it was a good idea.

She has to know that’s what gave her channel a bump in subscribers starting around 2 years ago, and it’s been over a year since she made one besides the membership vid. She was pumping one out every couple of months and the last two didn’t hit the same number of views so I wonder if she thought to herself “well, these are only performing slightly better than my regular vids and I hate making them so they aren’t worth the hassle.” Then we entered her roleplay and yapping era

Or, it could just be that youtube also cracked down on her like they did frivvi and she just hasn’t mentioned it.

That is true and makes dislikes kind of pointless! I wish dislikes actually made an impact on a content creators channel. Like a video with a high dislike to like ratio will earn less revenue and royalties. That would actually force creators to think wisely as to what they post!

Honestly I just avoid her shit videos anyways. Usually if there is not much buzz going on in this thread I know what she posted was dookie

Extremely shit numbers for a Youtuber that posts as constantly as she does. Her viewing audience has been declining as well and not too long ago, there were several comments criticizing the lack of effort she's been putting into her videos lately. Either she changes something or just accepts that her channel growth would eventually stagnate.

I haven't watched a video of hers in a while. All I do is take a look at the video thumbnail and that tells me all I need to know. If I see a thumbnail that looks like she might show feet then I'll take a look at the preview window and see if there is any feet at all within the video. If the video doesn't show her feet I don't bother wasting my time watching it at all.

Recently all her thumbnails have been looking the same though with the same setup and look on her face touching two standing mics side by side trying to give you the sexy "I want you" look with her eyes/gaze. Meh not interested in that. Feet or GTFO is my motto these days
