Sharon is still doing fine at the moment, and will be for a while. Even besides sponsors, she gets income from her paying members on YouTube (her Raclette tier). The point I was originally making isn't just that her views will continue to go down—because her income will be enough to sustain her for some time—but that her window of opportunity for becoming set for life is finite. Her looks and popularity won't last forever. She can't rely on generating income as an author later in life, because that will fail. Other YouTube channels will also fail. With respect to her long-term future, selling spicier content is the most realistic and attainable pathway to ensuring that kind of financial comfort. She could make an absolute killing if she did it right, but she has to do it while the opportunity is still available.
She has tested the waters a bit by making pool content where she's in a bikini, or yoga content where she's wearing tight and revealing clothes that show off her body (and is barefoot for the foot people), or spit painting, or including occasional ahegao faces, etc. Those videos do well enough, but not astronomically so. That might indicate to her that the market isn't there, or that those kinds of videos aren't worth making more of compared to more comfortable content, and so it's also not worth exploring even spicier content because the cost-benefit ratio isn't favorable enough to justify it. But the thing is, the market absolutely is there. If she learned how to do proper NSFW ASMR and give people what they want, she would dwarf any success she's already enjoyed, and by a lot. And that's not to mention making even more explicit content which raises the ceiling for potential income even higher.
YouTube views don't translate 1-to-1 here. Especially not on the content she has made thus far. Just as YouTube members pay more than YouTube viewers (per capita), spicier content generates even more per person. And those people will be many if she does it right. It will make her Raclette tier look like a kiddie pool next to the ocean.
