How do i ask a question about a video in a non request thread but it's also not a request so it doesn't need it's own request thread?

make a discussion thread and link it in the main thread then report the post so a mod can sticky it.
well that's the whole thing I don't think it should require it's own discussion thread either, it should be allowed in the main thread but i suppose there is no way of doing it without creating it's own thread for something so simple and then having to have a mod move it
just make one.. you will also prevent any future spam inside the specific thread that way.

okay well thank you for the info but yeah i'm not going to do that for something so simple i'll just forget about it again thanks for the information
I could but i don't know who would know the answer so that's also not an option. it should simply be able to go to the thread and be like " hey does anyone know if the following clip is the full length or not" instead of having to create a request/discussion thread and then just to report it to the mods to move it to the correct spot, because if you create it as a request or disussion it's not always gaurenteed to be noticed or answered anyways. so at this point it seems like i've gotten the answers that i needed but its a lot of work for something simple. so i'll just move on from it
