Yeah it's weird if you talk to young people, they're used to working inside apps & ecosystems so a lot of basic/intermediate level internet knowledge that was common for millennials at their age, they don't really have. It used to always be that older peoples' knowledge became less relevant over time (how to work rotary telephone, how to drive a stick shift etc) but this is a situation where the knowledge is still useful, but things work so smoothly most of the time that it's not necessary to learn it.
