Have you ever been on the twitch website, and not just on her stream? It's part of the basic functionality of the website. Streams are displayed in a grid with live preview pictures that are updated frequently. If people see a half naked girl on the stream preview, they click on it. If they see an empty room, they don't click on it. They "know when to click on her stream" because they can see her in the preview before joining the stream.

It's pretty hit or miss - I don't know what's causing it but I have experienced this plenty of times with different threads.


Try to imagine thousands of members posting at the same time and all the notifications that will generate for people who are subbed/watching the threads. There are many thousands of notifications also going out, more numerous than the member count when that happens. I'd guess it's that the software that powers these forums can't keep up either due to resource overload on the server(s) that run the site or bugginess with the notifications service for the forum. It's annoying but this is a pretty well-run forum and I'm glad to see dedicated moderators keeping quality control in effect that I'll trade some glitchiness for the existence of the site and its efficiency otherwise.

Sorry guys, I have to bring up this Kai issue again. It just bothers the hell out of me.

Every single time Amouranth has a new collab with someone I laugh now. Kai asked for a collab like some 2 months back in which Amouranth pretended she had a ton of stuff to do.
