Tips for uber realism editing:
I'm using an 8gb vram with low ram specs turned on.
With higher height/width you get more details, however I try to avoid autoupscaling if possible because it tends to lose the details I spent a long time forming.
Instead do this:
1) Upscale in Lanczos with all options tuned to 0, send to inpaint and select ONLY MASKED with a mask blur around 10 or so depending on the graininess/shapness of your picture, then inpaint things you want to fix like faces. This uses your previous upscaled resolution and bounds it to the inpainting area, so you can have a 4k face in a very small space.
2) When using inpainting, sometimes your prompts tend to go insane, I.E. a prompt of a woman yawning will have her head turned in the opposite direction so she comes out like Sadako from the ring. To alleviate this, drop tiny inpainting dots in the corners, mind you, if you do this with the Lanczos method, it will diminish hires quality dependent on the radius.
3) Swap out different checkpoints and LORA's for desired effects. For example, UBRM is a great checkpoint for drawing male genitalia and sexual scenes whereas Better Vulva is great for female genitalia without penetration. CHILLOUTMIX has a great overall design but fails on skin detail, so mixing hyperrealism for skin texture after using Chillout as a base works wonders.
4) Using the command line --no-half-vae will save you so much of a headache in inpainting small areas.
5) Outpainting is ass currently and takes forever to get the desired results. In some cases it's quicker just to build your own LORA at 8gb vram or lower.
