fuck me. okay so nothing works anymore.

tried deleting all other python versions other than 3.11 (after reading a couple of pages from this thread), tried fresh re-installing 5.01 from github (and shit just goes on an infinite loop or redownloading/updating and not scraping), finally decided to downgrade to V4 and now im getting "paused" prompt leading to a force close cmd window. fucking hell.

i dont even know anymore why i have this bloated appdata folders on my dedicated download location (pretty sure i have another duplicate on the \user\programs location shit), cant fucking even tell what im supposed to migrating to the new version. i just want to press bat file and be done with it.

I personally keep getting scrape failures for Bunkrr. 403 Forbidden http. I did import ddos-guard keys, I tried importing several different browsers. downgrading to v4 didnt fix the problem either. changing max simultaneous downloads to 2 or 1 didn't work either. I'm personally at a loss on what to do. A couple days ago I was able to download.
For more context this has only happened in the past couple days and I've been using since V3. If anyone can help or if the creator needs any info from me then just ask.

Not a clue what your first paragraph means, but CDL creates the appdata folder wherever you run the program, it's the files the program needs to run. Pick one location and stick to running it from there, the other ones you can get rid of.

The 403's aren't a V4 or V5 thing. It's a DDOS-Guard thing. Currently DDOS-Guard is having a rage fit, likely as there is too much traffic going to Bunkr. When less traffic, it'll settle down. Not much CDL can do till then as it doesn't use an actual browser.

The ddos-guard cookies were a shot in the dark anyways, not really surprised they don't work.

okay i made it work. i think the issue was some bunkrr links and not the downloader (ie giving 403 errors etc). i tried linking a gofile or cyberdrop link and it downloaded just fine.

also., just to be clear, the start.bat file is still the one that needs to be initiated or opened to start downloading, yea? (ie. even after you just updated from v4 to v5 already?) cant really tell if there are more new changes like the URL or config (i used to just copy paste to the txt file rather than the cmd in v5)

While downloading a Redgifs profile, instead of putting all files into the same folder, CDL keeps creating/nesting new folders for each Redgifs link.

it's weird that i can visit via a browser and download that way, but not via cyberdrop (v4 - haven't gotten around to v5 upgrade yet).

I tried changing the user-agent to something else, including copying the browser's directly, and also switch to a mobile android user-agent. Doesn't seem to affect it - i suspect that perhaps bunkr is checking cookies and other things to determine if it's a real browser or a fake.

I figured it out, you have to go into Manage Configs then Authentication Options, or something like that. The option is there where you can enter your simpcity username and password, along with a bunch of other forums.

I had to try like 15 different IPs to get it to work. Settled on Norway, so maybe that will work for you

It seems we're able to download individual files everytime/anytime, there's nothing wrong with bunkrr, it's fine, I'm getting double digit MB/s downloads.

CDL is the problem and the way it interacts with bunkrr creating 403 errors, I don't think "it'll settle down".

This is not a BUG of cdl, but a FEATURE of bunkr. It is ddos-guard restricting automation.

So that is still a problem with CDL then, not bunkrr - bunkrr "settling down" won't fix this problem with CDL v DDoS guard.
