ok guys, so a certain forum site has been pulled recently. I say won't which one but it was a good alternative to this one and it makes me wonder. could simpcity face the same thing in the near future? what happens if simpcity gets pulled aswell?

Gotcha. The first link you get when you google the full length of is the forum, which I click on. I've never really gone to the main website so I didn't see that it says the forum will be back soon on its main page. Thats good news, I originally thought it was going the way of t-bay and completely shutting down
