Do you use encryption on the fly like cryptomator or basically just static files that are encrypted (7z/rar) that you have to Download individually? (That would seem like a huge hassle)

I also have saved a couple other OpenSource projects that might do exactly what I want (search for a particular face in all my videos). But mod of them are still just commandline tools. I remember the VideoHubApp ( ) developer has mentioned he might add facial recognition at some point. I look very much forward to DigiKam adding facial recognition for photos. (Must be done all locally which is doable with OpenSource facial recognition libraries).
is a fantastic duplicate finder software. For images it can use advanced algorithms that go beyond just comparing fireside or hashsum (e.g. Same image but two files having different resolution). I’ve mostly started to use it for videos and cleaned up many gigabytes with it.

The creator of Videohuapp 16 months on the Datahoarder sub said he would not update the program any more no idea why. I bought a license for the program like 4 to 5 years ago I tried to update the program my code from the program said it was no good and I asked for a new code the creator said you need to buy another code. The creator of the program said years ago your code will be good for ever that was a like S M H. after like the fir 3 or 4 version all the version from then other are only for minor bug fixes they program is so limited 3 to 4 thing cloud have been added easily they never were.

It's quite simple to use and very stable. You can use several sensitivity levels to browse your images and movies with many filters. It doesn't matter which bitrate, codec, or resolution a video has. If there is any dupe you will find it. Due to this tool I could wipe a remarkeble amout of dupe TB's. The website has also good instructions for use. I still had some questions and the support is super fast and competent. Just another recommendation
