Curious what you all think about the utility of AI tools in regards to data organization and our porn stashes.

Everyone is focused on AI helping with writing erotic or helping with deep fakes (so production of porn) but not so much in how we optimize the content itself.

I think there is a big market for this because most of us have TBs of porn and its likely organized in a simple way (model name, etc) but does not feature tags or a good search feature. You can almost never find that one golden vid that you want when you have a taste for it.

Thoughts? How many years are we away from a AI tool auto storting, renaming, and eliminating dups from your porn inventory?

Honestly that has existed for a long time. My phone goes through all my pictures with facial recognition and sorts my pictures by people. These are pictures I have taken I mean but the technology to do sort has existed for a while.

They also have metadata scrapers to have everything organized all neatly and you can pull metadata that's already been collected from them down to yours.

Digikam is allegedly working on a AI-ish powered duplicate finder , currently its on version 8.1.0. Heard that it will be implemented by version 8.5 ( again open source projects and rumors ).

The important thing is Duplicates is a problem that we are aware of. I use a homebrew python script that sorts by common attributes, but an AI one that looks inside the videos would be awesome.

It takes some time to setup and get used to the settings, but it's worth it. They have an online version now, but I haven't used it yet.

I have a 1TB lifetime storage account on files.fm

I've had it for about 5 years, I was fortunate enough to claim the 1TB lifetime account as it was their limited time only birthday promotion

1TB is micro to what others have but it definitely holds up for what i have as I'm very particular what i preserve

It's also password protected & encrypted files so i only have access & can choose who i share access to

I'll definitely look into stash app aswell

I think I will use this thread to ask if there’s a way to discover duplicated videos on our storages?
I just Have so many videos now (more than 30000) and since I love amateur videos, many of them are not well documented or with sufficient informations to be easy to Identify things that I downloaded more than one time from different sources or quality.

no, they probably have different names and file sizes, since they can be from different sources and with different image quality.
Theres a way to identify the actual content of the video with some kind of IA or something?
