It's all just sleazy gossip to sell books. You can believe it if you like but there's also nothing there beyond the stories of people trying to sell something. Hef was a perverted weirdo by most accounts but I'm not buying into the idea that he slept with every girl, let alone that it was a requirement to make Playmate of the Year. That Hef was having sex with all the girls, up into his 80s, just makes for great fantasy and myth building.
