Does anyone have a functioning, easy-to-use alternative? It hasn't been updated in over a year, and I'm having problems with reddit rips now. I think CloudFlare has blocked my IP or something but I don't know how to undo it.

Okay .. this is a little Weird... I don't really know what could be the issue then... Like is it not installing or are you calling it with the wrong arguments...
If you do " py -m pip list" does Gallery-dl appear in the installed packages list?
If yes within your command line did you use gallery-dl "URL here" ( with the quotes framing your URL )
Sorry for the late reply. I did the pip list and funnily enough it does appear there. For some reason, every time I try to run it, it just gives me an "Access Denied" prompt. Like no crash, just get denied. Can't figure it out. bdfr is the only ripper that works for me right now, but redgifs is still bugging out.
Okay, that is something I cannot help with for now because I have no clue .. it seems like some permissions issue ( Obv duh ) .. but not sure if it's because gallery-dl is not allowed to write/modify in the path/folder it is called from or something else like an antivirus blocking it.
